Prof. Johnson has a way of explaining every topic simply and coherently. For this reason, you don't need a textbook, but you do need a (paid) Pearson account to do homework online. All tests are open notes, and the test problems come directly from in-class examples. Basically, if you come to class, you'll have an easy 'A' on every test.

He does a fantastic job at giving lectures, extremely important to attend class, class is extremely entertaining and the amount of extra knowledge he teaches is remarkable. Prof. Johnson is a very lenient grader and his assignments are completely manageable.

Great professor. very clear and interesting lectures with lots of great examples he also applies to real life. HW is not long and not hard u have all semester to do them. Easy papers and tests Open note. copy all his notes from class and you will pass everything no problem. Super nice & down to earth guy. Zero ego and open to help all. Recommend.

Such a nice guy with so much knowledge. His tests are all open book/open notes and hes a pretty easy grader. Just stay on top of the online homework assignments!

Ok this guy knows his stuff, but needs to know his audience. SCI 102 students aren't science majors, don't give us science major workload. 5 online "homeworks" per chapter, multichapter "closed book, closed notes" quizzes. Took a hybrid, I'm not a science major, don't give me science major amount of work.

He's a great professor. His knowledge is vast and he's willing to offer it to anyone who's willing to ask. He's extremely helpful and his lectures are detailed and structured but he's also willing to discuss any topics that might be of interest to the class at the time.
