I don't know what happened from 2007 to 2015 but I do not recomend this professor. He's never on campus now that he has an off site job for an engineering firm. His lectures are long and hard to follow. The ass is hard but he doesn't teach the material well at all. If there iss any way you to take steels without having this professor do it.

Very hard teacher. He expects a lot out of you and assigns homework very liberally. However, he is a very fair grader. If you do all your work, you'll end up with a reasonable grade. He's always available for help and will definitely help you if you ask for it. He's very dedicated to the class.

The best professor in civil engineering by far. A good amount of homework and projects, makes you earn your grade. He always available for help and seems like he loves to teach. A++

Very good teacher. You will be hard pressed to find a professor anywhere that will spend as much time trying to help you as him. He is a little goofy/nerdy but he is a real good teacher. He assigns a lot of work but if you do it then it really pays off. All and all one of the best CE professors

The 2 hardest classes i've ever taken. Gave way too many HWs, and on top of it, you only had until the class after next to complete it and turn it in. Projects were INSANELY hard. Many, many, many long hours spent on them. Decent scale.
