Very smart guy. A little difficult to understand at first, but after a few lectures it's easy. 124 is a difficult class, but Wu presented it very well. Lectures are helpful - make sure to ask questions, he will answer them all before moving on. Tests are straight forward. 2 (3?) tests, 5 quizzes.

Wu does not like teaching OS and it shows. He reads slides from a powerpoint and writes them on the board which makes it impossible to pay attention in class. This sucks because when it comes time to take the test you have to study a ton of material on your own. Fortunately his tests aren't too challenging if you understand the basic concepts.

He's nice but the material is boring, really boring. The organization of the course is not clear either.

Best professor you can even learn from. Cuts to the chase, teaches you the coolest material and algorithms. Shows you how you can apply your knowledge in real live domains. Down to earth, despite how prestigious he is, he still writes on the backboard and teaches and use visuals aids to make things easy for you. Never makes you feel stupid. Fair!!!

Professor Wu is the best instructor any serious student can wish for. You will learn the material so well. He will teach you on the whiteboard, he will give you examples, he shows you how to write papers and do research. Though he is a scholar, he is down to earth and very kind to his student. Never made me feel stupid when I ask questions. HOT!!!!

Material was very interesting, well prepared, and well taught. Unique approach, great student lectures. Took both AI and DM with him. AI focused more on DM methods than than traditional planning, etc. DM class was outstanding. One class watched a video of him talking rather than a lecture -- seemed like a waste of time. Overall, very good.

I thought this class was going to be neat. He presented it in such a dry manner. The exams only consisted of memorizing lecture slides, and there was no engaging thought. Learning the programming languagues for the assignments was the only neat part.
