Dr. Hwang is an amazing teacher! He is very passionate about SPED and it shows in his lectures! He grades pretty easy. GO TO CLASS. He doesnt take roll but he knows who comes and if you go to class everyday, you will atleast get a B no matter how well/bad you do on his test!

Hwang was my scary advisor which made me nervous about his class. However, he is an awesome teacher! He tested solely on his lectures which were interesting. He has one assignment (a APA paper) but he gives you a sample paper so layout and citing is no problem. I actually failed the final but still made a B in the class. So just try to do well.

LOVED his class! It gave me so much insight into Sp.Ed. His lectures were very interesting. I never left his class disappointed. I would recommend taking him anytime.

His accent is difficult to understand at times. He is high energy. Sometimes gets carried away and begins yelling; he isn't angry, he just gets excited. He tries to trick you on tests. Beware his True or False questions! And don't be late to class, or you'll have to bring snacks next time.

Awesome teacher! He knows what he is talking about. He cares about his students. He likes to get to know his students as much as they will allow. Classes are always fun! Don't be late to class, though, or you will be providing snacks for everone at the next class meeting!

I cannot say enough about this man. He is one of the most inspiring professors I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He's just a great person and passionate about the subject. If you come in late or disrupt, he will make you bring doughnuts for all. Doesnt take roll but keeps an eye on attendence. Take him for sure, he is AWESOME!

Dr. Hwang is one of the best teachers at LSUS. His class is interesting and just fun. Donesn't even feel like a college class. He makes you feel as you are equal to him. He will sit in the the next to you and chat just like a student. I can't say enough about how wonderful his teachign style is. I learned so much!!!

Very entertaining teacher. He knows his stuff and makes it interesting. There is a 5 page paper with 30 sources. The tests are not the clearest but are OK.
