Comment:

This class was by far the easiest class I've taken at WIU. All the tests and quizzes are online. I finished the entire class in about 2 weeks. I will say, I didn't learn anything but I got an easy A. Three "papers" you have to write but they are very easy and she tells you exactly how she wants them. No final exam, just a project.

I think that the best way to describe this instructor is vague. Her instructions were vague. Her feedback was vague. The reading wasn't insignificant, but it was from largely non-academic sources, so it wasn't too difficult to process. I expect more from my grad-level courses.

Took the online FCS321 class. Near weekly quizzes and a few papers. Read the book, it was pretty easy class to pass. Tough grader but I've had much worse. I would take her again. One of the easiest A's I have gotten at WIU.

I thought this class was going to be great. It soon became evident that she had no understanding how to clearly get her point across. She would often encourge students to play a guessing game of what word she means by giving them the first letter. This is not a strategy I expect from a grad level class. I am truly disappointed.

She is constantly talking about things that are off topic, she only talks about Piaget when shes talking about anything brain development and we had to teach her what scaffolding was. She tested us twice over something that we hadnt covered and then when she did she just talked about Piaget again. Loves those that suck up to her fails everyone else

I think everyone is making negative comments about her because they do not full listen to what shes saying. She has an accent and I think sometimes she jokes and people don't understand shes trying to become closer with the class.She has is a VERY smart women and teacher, give her a chance.

Yuki Hasebe is the worst teacher that I have ever had. I do not know how WIU let her in, or lets her continue to teach!! She called our class stupid and told us to switch our majors. It makes you really think about the professors that WIU has hired, and has me questioning why their standards were so low!!

Unwilling to help her students, one-minded and is not open to others viewpoints, unclear about what she wants us to know for tests, and shows clear favoritism of her students. It is amazing that she is teaching potential teachers how to teach when she herself has one of the most negative attitudes I've ever seen.

This has got to be one of the worst teachers I have ever had during my time here. Her Japanese accent is horrible and she just keeps rambling on and on. The only subjuct that she goes over is Piaget. We hardly go over anything in class. I am always extremely confused by the time I walk out of that class. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, EVER!!!

If you can get past her japanese accent, you still won't be able to understand ANYTHING she says! Completely unorganzied and doesn't know how to teach a classm, let alone figure out grades. I got a 70 on the midterm, which was supposed to be half of my grade and still got an A! She says some prety stupid and crazy stuff. Class is a joke!!!

Horrible professor her english is horrible, she's not available for students and doesnt let you know how well you are doing in the class. Essays are easy as long as you set it to the right margins you will get an A. Quizzed on subjects not covered yet in class only two tests. Do not take her.

You get nothing out of this class... I never thought I could be so confused before in a class!! She doesnt stay on topic.Nothing ever gets accomplished and then you get tested on everything and because nothing was covered in class you sit there and are confused out of your mind!! Piaget Piaget Piaget I did horrible in this class, but kissed her ass. It was mathmatically impossible to get an A, but the ass kissing paid off. Rule#1 go talk to her even if you can't stand her. It will pay off in the end.

If you're actually interested in learning, don't take her. If you want a good grade for doing NO WORK- she's your teacher! just show up to class most of the time and do the take home essays & you're golden. she's pretty funny & ditzy, but i think she's smart- just confused.
