Comment:

I've taken my share of bad professors, but he takes the cake. Unorganized and unprofessional, tests you on material he hasn't taught and literally is all over the place. constantly cancels lab and forgets about homework, which is annoying since they are there to help boost grade. literally worst professor I've ever had. CCRI should be embarrassed.

DO NOT TAKE HIM. By far the worst professor I've ever had. Made me feel very uncomfortable when I asked for help because he was so rude in response. He allowed some students to make up work late, but not others. Always complains if you're late to class but often shows up late himself.

Comment:

Not usually prepared/organized for class nor perfectly on time. Gives HW book problems that are time consuming and difficult. Basically teach or yourself and show up to recitation. Although this is Physics, so it is not exactly the easiest subject to teach. Also, the school did not give us a proper classroom.

Lectures too fast to follow. Solves problems using various methods (confusing), including math that is above this course. Is not clear on expectations or directions. Seldom comes prepared for class. Hardly shows for office hours. Goes off on tangents about future material. Does not engage the class unless he needs a computation. Frustrating.

He knows his stuff but doesn't know how to properly get it out. Needs to be precise with everything he demonstrates. Doesn't go over homework Which is not helpful. Tests are hard for most part. Diagrams are helpful.

I would not recommend Professor D'Souza. The material he gives in class is easy to understand but his quizes are much harder than you can imagine (and you have only one hour to solve 4 problems and to answer 30 multiple choice questions, wich is not enough considering the complexity of the test).

He's a great professor. I can easily understand the new material. He gives all the info in class, so you don't have to read million pages a day at home. He is also very helpful during labs, and he will answer all the questions you have. This is my first class at CCRI and I just love it!

This guy took over my class when my other professor has medical problems. He knows his stuff but isn't the best at relaying what he knows. I'd still recommend him as a professor but you would need to put some serious work into his class
