He's really cool, has a very weird grading scheme, I won't spoil it though. Take his class, attendance is very important, although his lecture slides are very helpful. I think he is great, some in my class didn't but whatever. Don't buy the textbook, just go to class and take some decent-ish notes and you should pass the class.

Definitely not an easy class or very easy A. Granted he does have a nice curve of 82.6 at an A. However no A- and a lot of people barely miss the A which sucks. Accent but doesnt impede with learning. Final is difficult. Got lucky to end with an 82.8

So this class is by far an easy A, but it doesn't come across as one at first, He gives a huge curve but wont tell you until the very last lecture. You can genuinely get an A with no curve here, and some people do, however he makes an 82.5% in the class and A, and like a 50% or so a C, its pretty hard to fail if you try even a little. He curves the class at the end of the quarter (Very generous)... Presentations is very easy, they don't even read the essay..... Test are pure facts to memorize... I would take the class again, pretty chill

Class is supposed to be easy, but there is a presentation and term paper with no curve. So, i don't know why the class is filled, maybe because its interesting. However, the class is not easy as people say it is. 35% A's and rest of class get B's. But it's not really helpful for med school, more likely pharmacy or just for graduating

Professor Rao is a really nice professor; he lets you know in lecture things to remember, which is helpful. You should read the textbook, but majority of the midterm questions are direct off the lecture notes he presents in class. He has a huge curve! 82.6% is the minimum for an "A" grade this quarter!

He's not easy, per se, but for Rao, MEMORIZE! But he lets you know and hints at what he wants you to know so, really, he's not hard...just a heavy load, but if you're planning to go to professional school, it's worth taking.

He's a good professor. Makes class entertaining and enjoyable. Out of the three, I'd say the best one (also taught the first half of the course). Midterm was pretty much exactly from the material. This class involves a lot of memorizing. Go to discussion-the TA's pretty much tell you how to study and what slides to focus on.

As of spring 2004, this class isn't as easy as it use to be! Still doable though -- it involves looooooots of memorizing!! Lecture notes aren't always so clear. What's a lot more helpful are study handouts given during discussion.
