Comment:

Do the work and you'll get an A. He gives extra credit too so there really isn't an excuse not to get a grade. HW assignments are relatively easy but some do take a long time to complete. I took Zimmerman for CIS1 and liked his class so much I took it for CIS4. He always gives feedback on your discussions and is very accessible through email.

I am having the best experience with this professor. When I email him, he responds in a timely manner and actually addresses all of my concerns in a caring way, unlike the cold and short emails of other professors. I also like that he keeps our class very updated, even including some emails about goings on in the school that I find cool. Take him!

I am taking the final right now, been taking me more than two days to complete. 400 Question final!! unrealistic amount of work this professor gives. 400 questions final is just unnecessary. blocks all communication among students in his online class. awful experience. you will teach yourself everything spending hours upon hours.

Do Not Take!! Absolutely worst online teacher! more concerned about you following his instructions for emailing/labeling than to learn the material and succeed. never clarifies why you got marked wrong. zero communication in the class. very unclear grading criteria. doesn't use the grade-book. and he will even use untrue numbers (3/0 , 5/0)!!

Ridiculous amount of homework. About half of the homework should be optional. The course is not as flexible as most online courses, with the midterm being scheduled midweek instead of over a weekend, etc. I do appreciate the professor's passion for his subject and eagerness to ensure his students have a complete understanding.

Taking this class is like having a second job. There are several assignments each week and an exam each week. They are easy enough however what is bothersome is that it is just the work being repetitive. It's just busy work. The assn. files are old however he doesn't update them for the updated book. avoid if you can.

Just do the work as instructed and you'll be fine. The Time on the quizzes weren't enough, but that's only if you don't know your materials well. Gives many opportunities to raise your grade by providing numerous extra credit work. I did get an "A" in the class, but I studied hard for it. Good luck.

What I liked was the homework asssignments, very doable. What I didnt like: the tests/quizes were not clear and the formatting wasnt great. The final and midterm were very fair and pretty easy. He does not use the online gradebook, and returns your grades late. I did get an A. Musthave strong accounting understanding.

Wow.Horrible Online Teacher. His tests are from past semesters so there are soo many typos! 10 min tests for 30 questions!? He's crazy. Takes longer to understand instructions for Hmwk than to do it. Post grades up late. You can't get help from other students. (disables email tab and forum) Bad Grading System. Everything is horrible. Do Not Take!

DO NOT EVER THINK OF TAKING HIS CLASSES. He is definitely not helpful, and his WORD job is awful(documents are copied from previous semester and have lots of mistakes). He is also bitter and have a problem in his character. In spite of his lousy job, HE DARES require you a perfect and professional job. Shameless prof. Sucks to be in his class.

DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR ONLINE CLASSES!! The homeworks assigned have nothing to do with what is going to be tested. You will not get any feedback on any missed questions. Gives you zero points on an assignment if you have one mistake. Testing interface (SAM) is clunky and wastes your already heavily limited time. Poorly worded tests. Should be gone!

Very unfair teacher, writes off huge points (sometimes all points) on homework for little mistakes, not enough time for quizzes and tests, will not bend for anything. I caution all who wish to take his online class!
