Very nice person, seems physically impeded, very slow, he cannot teach, he does not answer questions or explain anything, only shows YouTube videos, never stands up, we only went over about half of the course material, midterm and finals were the last two days of class. On day one he actually stated "you guys can ask each other" if u want teaching

Slowest professor I've ever seen. You will not and I repeat WILL NOT learn 1 thing from this class. I've attended every class this semester and it's the same thing every class. A video from a textbook, then some examples even he has trouble answering. Gave a mid-term with no warning, and doesn't know how to use ALEKS. Beware of this class.

This professor is slow! I took the 6 week sem and expected a ton of work/due dates. Instead I sat through mono-toned lectures, really just him showing videos from the textbook. He gives terrible explanations, if you dont already have a grasp on algebra dont take him! He gave no due dates then surprised us with 3 tests in the last week then the finl

Comment:

Just took Prof Biggs for fall semester and I'll be taking him again in Spring for stats! He's really easy going, his blended classes are simple. Online test, assignments, and in class midterm and final. Some say he's hard to talk to but he's not, I never had a problem and he helped me a lot. Just do your work and you'll be fine.

Aside from the fact that he doesn't explain things clearly, if you ask him to explain again he acts like he can't understand why you are having trouble. PLUS when it was time to take the tests he would include the next chapter that we hadn't even covered yet. I've never failed a class in my life! I always get A's or B's. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

WARNING!!! Do not... I repeat Do not take this Professor , this class will stress you out . he doesnt help you at all he is slow when it comes to teaching and answering your questions. In order to achive this class you will need to read the material and find a tutor. So if you want succeded do it somewhere else . smooth and steady doesnt live here

I took this class on campus but due to personal issues, I had to drop it. At first this class is fairly easy since you are able to use the book. If you study & review all the online lectures you will do fine. Discussions are easy & most assignments are online. The last chapter is STATS & its not easy. If you know anyone with a ti-83 borrow it.

Horrible, worst professor I've ever had. I had him for an online class and I fell behind a little bit and he is not understanding at all. He will not let you make up any missed assignments and does not try to help you with anything. Would definitely not recommend him. If you don't really need any guidance from a teacher then he will be fine for you

Comment:

Online class, although it took awhile for him to respond to emails, he always did. If you study the practice tests, at least 70% of time, it will be the same questions on the tests, with 1-2 different from it. Do the discussions it adds up at the end, at least 6 points. The assignments also. Got an A+ without studying like crazy. No book needed.

Well, the rumors are true. He's really horrible. He has a terrible attitude when you approach him after class. He speaks softly so you can hardly hear him. Half the time It seems like he doesn't understand the material himself. Have to teach yourself or visit the ASC. The actual tests are usually nothing like the practice ones.

The prof. made up an excel program that is not easy, it will not help with any other math or science course you may take, It will be better if you choose a course that uses a universal calc. Prof uses other online prof to teach course, when he does lecture it is mono tone and he gets confused.

My piece of advice to any student who cares about learning is to stay far AWAY from this so call professor. He does not teach, does respond well to questions ask. I'm not sure why he's still a "professor" at broward. Worst one I've come across. Wanna mess up your GPA go ahead and take him

All the tests are done online over the weekend. If you do the practice tests prior you will be alright. Good teacher if you have questions ask in class and he will explain everything. Like I said do the practice tests all of them prior to taking the weekend test and you will be OK. I took the test with my notebook open so not bad.

SO as a teacher when you read this don't you think you want to change something? or do some teachers overall avoid reading this because they understand there getting by the easy way. Unfortunately get paid regardless if students learn or not.

Unfortunately this "teacher" does not teach. I have taken many online classes and this is the first one that had no contact from my teacher. There is also no way of knowing if you are on the right track, the whole course is a guessing game. The few assessments that you can take don't let you know what you have gotten wrong/right. Very disappointed.

Absolutely horrible & useless. Bad teaching, droning, refuses to do any extra work to help his students learn the content or succeed. He even has recordings of another statistics teacher teaching the lessons. He leaves right after class so there isn't time to communicate and replies to emails without giving a helpful answer to the question asked.
