This class is made harder because of Dr. Eltom. He contradicts himself constantly and is very unclear on what he expects. Expect to spend 5-7 hours per homework and countless more time teaching yourself outside of class. He claims the book is wrong but grades according to the book's methods. Do not pay attention to his lectures if you want a chance

worthless by all means. Good person but worthless and worthless and worthless professor. Exams super tough to solve. Can't teach, no structure for class. Jumps left and right. No focus what-so-ever. Worthless

Dr. Eltom is a worthless teacher. This was a summer course. He gave lots of HW, but couldn't answer any problems correctly himself. If asked he would try to answer a question, look dumb founded, disagree with the book method, disagree with the solution method, and get the WRONG answer with his method. Somehow he still graded the tests. Pathetic!!!!
