Easiest class I've taken so far at UTC. There are two tests, mid term and final. That's it, no homework, no quizs ,and no papers. He doesn't even use a text book. Just memorize what he says in the classes leading up to the tests and obtain easy A. Also, if you're friendly with him it'll help with the A *wink* wink*

This man is so senile! It felt like the amount of words he said in a week could be taught by a different teacher in 15 minutes. He repeated himself so much, and seemed like he was losing his mind. He only gives two tests for your final grade, but I actually got an A in the class. Avoid him if you can, his class is useless. But you can survive.

This class is easy to pass but you MUST take notes. I got an easy A by simply regurgitating what he wrote on the board. That's all you need to do --you'll see him circle a lot of things. Do that on your exams. Yes, I'm serious. Oh, and I agree, he's bonkers.

I cant believe the school doesnt do soemthing about this guy. We all work hard in school. Dont throw away your a semester or a decent GPA on a "teacher" who you cant pass no matter what answers you give on the test. Oh and 2 grades, no quizes, no home work. Essay questions only. This is what it means to set a student up for failure.

You MUST attend class. Class is not mandatory, but tests are literally word for word what comes from his mouth. He says it 3-4 times, so if you take good notes, you'll be just fine. No homework either.

He is a good man but he is very stubborn and traditional. He only wants to you memorize what he said. No textbooks, no notes, no tests. Only a midterm and a final

AVOID THIS MAN LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! He says he wants you to think critically, but just wants you to memorize things exactly. And I mean exactly--NO SYNONYMS. Write exactly what he wrote on the board or said or you'll get the question wrong. He is completely incomprehensible and the most boring, self absorbed man alive. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

This teacher is really smart. He does everything from memory or notes he writes the night before. It is a MUST to tape record class. If you don't you will fail. He repeats himself in order to make sure you get everything in your notes. His class grade is based on two big tests. If you test bad don't take the class. Good notes are a must. Good guy.

At first I didn't want to write any comments because I felt 13 pages of them are proof enough but Prof. Rabin deserves every last bashing a professor can get. 1st, he only lectured; 2nd, he wouldn't accept questions; 3rd he only takes two grades with quizes or homework; and 4th he is rude. If you value your GPA, don't take this course.

So he doesnt use a text book, so you HAVE to go to class to get a good grade, he is CRAZY. his lectures make no sence because everyone is wrong, the books, economists, EVERYONE. if youre up for a challenge then go for it, but i recorded every lecture, took notes, and still managed just to pull a C out of it. He also makes a way bogger deal about hi

This professor should not be teaching. First he posted a txt on the syllabus that we did not use and didn't tell use about it till after we bought it. All down hill form there. hell bent on proving the whole economics profession wrong which he never did he wanted you to memorize not learn. not helpful and test rules are borderline obsession. crazy

He is really odd instructor, I attended every lecture and recorded every lecture, but somehow he always seems to question himself as well as say that all economists are wrong. That includes him, he is by far, the most senile and confusing instructor I ever had. I wished that I had dropped his class, but oh well. He should be under review for how bad he teaches from day to day, no offense to him, but he will show signs of loneliness and horniness. Everyone in the class believes he should get laid

I got an A, &that is rare. 3/4 of the class failed his midterm and his final counts twice. If you are going to take this class, you need to go to every painful lecture. He doesn't use the textbook, b/c it is "wrong". His lectures could be taught in 1/2 hour, but he draws them out for 2&1/2. Don't try to argue with him, the student is always wrong!

DO NOT TAKE HIM! He declares all other economists and methods of study useless, repeats himself and frequently contradicts himself, and you need to memorize what he says in class exactly word for word if you want to pass. I went to class every day and took great notes and got a 63 on the midterm...one of the highest grades in the class. STAY AWAY!

Bring a gun to class. If you don't kill Rabin first then use it on yourself. The first couples of weeks aren't bad but after the midterm 75% of the class dropped. Trashes everyone but himself. Please take my word for it, DO NOT TAKE HIM!!! He doesn't use a textbook because he thinks it is useless and he doesn't agree with any other professor.
