Comment:
Very poor professor for teaching linear algebra. He just basically copies off slides and doesn't really explain the underlying concepts behind them. I would strongly avoid him unless you're the type of person who likes studying the material by yourself.

Honestly one of the worst professors I have ever had. As mentioned he does have an accent but you can get over it. What you can't get over is how little he cares about his class. It doesn't seem like he wants to be in the classroom and honestly he shouldn't. I wish he took the time to explain concepts and really dive into the beauty of this class

Looks intimidating at first but is actually a very friendly man. He's very straight forward in his teaching and his exam questions are exactly as the examples he does in class. He does go by his examples rather quick but honestly it just encourage me to do my math faster. I enjoyed his classes a lot.

Very smart man but not good at teaching. He is very specific on what he expects from you. The entire course was based off a textbook so lectures weren't even mandatory.

He's a very nice and friendly guy, super smart too. He definitely has a very good understanding of the material and knows what he's talking about. His lectures can be a bit confusing however as when he does examples, he does them quite quickly and skips some steps, assuming we are smarter than we are. His accent takes some getting used to as well.

His accent is difficult to understand at first, but you will get used to it. Despite the fact that he's a charming man, his lectures are very boring and dry. By the end of the semester his class was mostly empty due to the reasons mentioned above. He knows his stuff, but if you want a more lively lecture, I wouldn't recommend.

Brudnyi is very clear about what he expects from you on exams and midterms. The material of the course was a bit challenging, but Brudnyi made it really easy to understand and was always wiling to help. Would recommend him for sure.

His use of powerpoint to explain concepts makes it hard to gain a good understanding. Thankfully though, he used the chalkboard relatively frequently - doing problems out with us. You get used to his accent. Seemed a little aloof initially, but he's friendly and relaxed once you know him. Knows his stuff. Ask questions. Read text AHEAD of lecture!

He is a good prof. Is clear. Most of the material is review from high school (math 31), so was easy for me-however there were some tricky question on the tests. Overall very easy course if you took math 31 in high school.

He teaches from the lecture slides, and uses blackboard to clarify or write examples. The most helpful part of this course was the different forms of similar questions that he gave as examples in class. The midterms and final were very easy, as LOTS of practice/past exams were provided online.

He doesn't teach calculus. he reads off the slides created by the course coordinator. If you already have a strong background in calculus from high school, don't bother attending lectures. They're completely useless. If you aren't strong in calculus, do not take it with Dr. Brudnyi.

Very confusing prof. He doesn't teach us calculus he just shows us that he knows how to do it. Very smart guy though. He skips most steps and is very hard to follow. Midterms were reasonable though.

Really nice guy, very helpful if you have questions and you can tell he knows what he's talking about. Sometimes he jumps around assuming you know whats happening which makes it slightly confusing if you missed a day but definitely worth staying in his class if you have him.

A really smart guy who knew what he was teaching. He has an accent so it's hard to understand him and he writes with white chalk on a gray board messily so it's hard to take notes or understand. Quizzes are identical to the assignments on Webworks, and easy to get 100. Midterm was also easy, but the Final was BRUTAL but he fixes the marks.

His final was impossibly hard, his assignments were easy and the quizzes were exactly like the assignments. The midterm was a piece of cake but the final was impossible! However, he is a very nice guy and if you go to see him after the final, when he offers his office hours, he will raise your mark if you did well on your assignments and quizzes

Not the best at teaching however exams are extremely easy, along with assignments. A nice prof but notes are hard to follow and has a bit of an accent.
