Let me start by saying she cancelled class a lot. She doesn't have a overall schedule for the class just goes with the flow I guess. Three in class essays + Comp Co-op Exam and 3 outside essays. She is really approachable and really encourages to see her.

Professor Rust is really a good professor she does cancel class a lot which means she gives you lea way on assignments and papers. Do the work study for 15 on quizzes then all pass with a B or higher she tells you it and especally she tells you that she barely gives A's. Take her though all love her.

You work less than in a traditional english course but the reason why I used those tags is because for the effort she puts into the class she expects a lot in return. She cancelled class a total of 13 times and didn't follow through with the assignments she said she would give. She is also a tough grader.

She is really nice honestly, but she cancels A LOT. If you do your work and show up when there is class you wont have a problem. She lets you turn in late work and sometimes doesn't even collect it. Always check your email before you go to her class to see if she cancelled. Overall she is a really easy teacher, but just a bit unorganized.

I am an English major that transferred to DH. In all of major classes, and in my ENG classes at my community, I get A's and high B's. She graded the essays so hard unless you were an athlete. I started keeping track, and of the 17 school weeks, she cancelled class 12 times. She gives no feedback on essays except "explain more." DO not take her.

She canceled class all the time. Her class was okay, I mean her class is not boring at all and she would let us leave early. however I believed she was a hard grader at the end of the semester, for hardly teaching us anything.

Professor Rust was very helpful and was there whenever you need her. We only had to do 6 essays which were not that bad; they really help prepare you for the Comp Co-Op. There were a few quizzes in which she would go over what would be on the quiz right before. Highly recommend!
