If you're a visual learner and smart thinker, just by going to his classes and paying close attention will guarantee you at least an 80%, if not you'll be able to pass with a lot of work. Extremely good lecturer, can get boring to listen to at times though.

Great lectures! Had him for probability & random signals as well as communications. Might seem intimidating during lectures due to the complex material but the evaluations are easy. I'd say he is a very fair prof and rewards effort. One of the good profs out there.

He's a terrible prof, he skips steps when coming to an answer so if you didn't take Calculus in high school you're basically screwed. His notes that he scribbles on his tablet PC are incredibly hard to read. Be prepared to do a lot of self-teaching and try your best to attend those tutorials. His final/midterm is really hard. Be warned.

Lectures are useless if you go to tutorials. He basically re-writes his notes on the overhead. Not good at explaining and gets upset when asked questions. He's not bad, tests are quite simple if you study. Its not a hard class if you do your work i basically learned everything myself from his messy and unorganized notes

Very boring class. Tries his level best to mess up students confidence, by saying "its a very hard course, and I give very hard finals." Not good at explaining. Individual explanations during his office hours, will just leave you more confused, than before. So DONT ever bother going to him for help.

"Can you hear me in the back?" yea, thats right. Thats all I remember from his lectures. He isnt helpful. I asked him a simple question on the final exam and he refused to answer it. He couldnt even rephrase the question. His final exams are ridiculous. If you get this guy, bounce from his class A.S.A.P.
