Comment:

I graduated UNLV Hotel Admin in 95 and took Teeters operations class. I highly recommend this class to any person who will be responsible for any building. Teeters is diligent at staying up to date with his knowledge and is dedicated to passing on that knowledge. He is very helpful. Great person. Thank you KT.

Comment:

It's a pretty challenging class with a lot of information to learn, but you can use your notes on the tests. COME TO CLASS! Write down everything he says. A lot of test questions come from lectures. He's very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in his field, and you will learn more about elevators, HVACs and light bulbs than you'll ever want to know.

He's SUPER NICE! Let's you use notes on the first 3 exams. 4th exam is a take home test. Attendance is mandatory. The final is hard, because you can't use notes. ADVICE: Pay attention to the little things he mentions! Those are usually the things on the exams.

This class is so hard and boring. The powerpoint that he posted on webcampus is useless. If you want to get an A in this class, read the whole textbook and pay fully attention in the class. You have to take good notes of what he talks every class. You can use notes for exam if u hv gd attendance, but all notes have to be hand-written and submitted

This is a difficult class but required for hotel and its not very fun but if you read the text you'll be fine. And DO NOT SHOW UP LATE, he locks the doors on you. Teeters is very knowledgable and a little dry sometimes but its bearable. I would recommend him to any friends.

Class is not mandatory but he takes attendance and people who do not miss class can use notes on the first 4 exams. The final is comprehensive. I found the book useless to buy. Just take really good notes and use his powerpoint slides. He knows a lot about facilities but it is simply a boring subject so don't expect an exiting class. Easy class.

he is a man with knowledge!! The most smart and experienced professor ever!! At the begining you might not like him, but as yo take class, you will realize how much you can learn so much from him. (warning: do not ever copy and paste some other student' project, both get an F. I saw quite a few)

i took the module (OM1) version of this class. he is nice enough but very monotone. one research paper. i did it the day before (never try to write 12 pages in one night) and still got a B. tests are easy, just show up and take notes and you'll do fine.

He is very boring but so is the material. He lets you use any handwritten notes on the midterm if you have perfect attendance. The final is rather hard and to be honest some of the questions are inferred from the book or his statements not directly stated. He's a nice guy and will help any time.

Awesome teacher! He has so much past experience in the industry and he is very passionate about the subject. The class is very interesting just for the fact that a lot of the things that he teaches about are things that you don't think about or have little background knowledge on.
