Comment:

This was supposed to be an introductory class but he made it harder than it should have been. He says the textbook is required but I honestly never opened it. Tests and quizzes rarely match material he teaches. Had to skip class for an important event and he was very insensitive about it. Would never take a class from him again.

Awful professor. Once pulled me into his office when I was busy just to tell me he was disappointed in me. Little did he know, I was doing so poorly because his English is awful and his quizzes were not understandable because of it. He should not be allowed to teach. I would never recommend him to anybody.

Yes, Kalami is boring. However, SOC-230 is an easy A with him. 6 online tests, all on quizlet. 5 group papers and so far ive got 18/20 on both we have turned in. If youre recommending SOC-230, take it. Lectures boring as heck but an easy A.

He is an AWESOME professor. I learned a lot from him. This class was really great, also pretty easy Soc 230 we were in groups, took quizzes every other week, no final for Soc 330 also. If you any concerns he will try to help out as much as possible. I love his classes co far.

Very hard to understand. Some quiz questions are confusing and there isn't clarity. He takes an hour lecture to go over a paragraph in the book and then dosen't cover the rest of the chapter.

although i was excited to take this online class, i soon became drowned in confusion & dispair. Not only is his accent and improper grammar confusing, but his lectures resemble something like my dog attempting to bark the information to me. I felt like a polar bear lost in the desert. Each time i reached out for help, i would get no response.

He isn't clear on what the assignments are, he never answers emails until it's too late. You really have to pay attention and never miss class. Don't even tune him out for a second to cough or sneeze or you will be totally lost! AWFUL experience!

I have actually had him for 4 classes now and enjoy his lectures very much. He is not your typical professor that wants you to memorize the book for your test. You really do need to understand the material. If you attend classes, take notes, and attempt to understand and not memorize you will do great in his classes.

Mr. Kamali is a great teacher. He does quizes through webCT and has the midterm and final counted as the last quiz taken prior to the time the two tests are required. He is picky with cell phones, so keep them out of the class room and he's fun with class discussions, he likes to try to make them fun.

Great experience. If you are interested and engaging, the class is great, he listens to your questions and comments and engages them well. If you sit there like a dunce, he has to stick to lecture and changes the whole dynamics of the class. If you are in class to REALLY learn, it will happen with him. If you are not, well, you can figure it out.
