Comment:

Dr. McArthur is a very polite professor, she is available for help when ever needed, and gives appropriate answers to questions asked. However, her exams are extremely difficult. Simply understanding the course content is not enough to pass these exams with a good mark.

Comment:

exams are designed to confuse you. The material was presented way too quickly and open lab days should have been used for tutoring or incorporated to slow down the pace. Far too many assignment worth too little, 70% of grade came exams only. Excellent subject but the pace was too fast to absorb such useful material.

Awesome prof. Uses powerpoint so her lectures are very structured and clear. She is a very fair test writer, and her marking rubric is reasonable. I have taken a number of classes with her and have enjoyed them

Alisa is a part-time prof teaching a few courses at St. Mary's. She knows her stuff, and does a good job conveying it to the students. She likes to use powerpoints for her notes, which you copy down what you need to. This may be helpful to some, it was for me.

Very easy class, she made very difficult because of a hard marking scheme on the final project. Not an easy A, she makes you work for it.
