She's extremely helpful when you approach her both in or out of class. Her exams are all essay type so the focus is more on if you've learn the concepts. If you're in the right group, you'll do just well in the class.

She is a good professor. Here lectures are very clear and to the point. She is HARSH grader. But overall, very nice Professor. I would Highly recommend her!!! Study hard and PARTICIPATE in in-class discussions and you will pass this class.

You will learn a lot walking away from this class. She expects a lot from you but is a great professor! Be careful about the group you choose for the case competition. They make or break your grade.

She is a good professor, her class can get really boring sometimes. Follow the instructions on the assignments, try to show up for the in class exercises, and participate. Take home mid-term, and the final was not bad. I went in unprepared and came out with a B+.

She seems really nice. Class is ALOT of work. 2 exams, 2 separte group papers, plus presenting at a Case Competition. This professor pioneered this SOM 498 class, so everything must be done "her way." She warns you of the work load the first class though. Class is a waste of time. She treats this class as if it were YOUR only class.

VERY NICE Teacher. I really liked her a lot and definately recommend her. She explains things very well and made the class interactive through the activities. The class itself is a lot of theory and I think she did a great job of making it interesting. Exams are tough but attend class and study and you'll do great.

Her tests are hard and she teaches DIRECTLY off the slides, but if you do well on the oral (which u wil if u show up and say ANYTHING) thats a fourth of your grade. Not the best teacher but shes really nice and understanding, obviously loves what she does.. easy B

She needs some lectures on how to teach. She can be sued for claiming her teaching materials are self-designed. No, she didn't do sh*t! Class average was very poor, not even close to 70. No curve! If I were you, I rather stay home reading the book or even sleep better than going letures.

Her exams are difficult, but if you study her notes and attend lecture, you can earn A's. Lab was the most fun part of the class and an easy way to earn points. As far as her not curving the exams, that's life. You are given opporunities to earn points elsewhere, so I don't think that's an issue

Take this class. She gives you extra credit, participation, homework, and quizzes which they drop the lowest two. all these points add up. exams are hard which they should be easy b/c the material is easy but she makes them hard. study/go to every lab and you'll get an A.

I am not exactly sure how any student can sincerely believe O'Brian is a professor of high quality. Although she does appear to deeply immersed in the field of Management her lectures are medieval and useless relative to her tests. Copy the slides and theres no need to attend lecture.

I appreciated how clearly professor O'Brien communicated concepts, and how she taught from the text. However, I did not like our book "Organizational Behavior 6th edition by Kreitner and Kinicki" because it had too many political opinions of the liberal activist sort mixed in with scientific facts.

The class is completely juvenile.She makes you play games and have group activities in order to teach the chapter - completely useless.She never helps and thinks that when half of the class gets below a C on the test that everyone didn't study.She never any responsibility for being a bad professor.

So gosh darn boring! Lecture sucks, Lab sucks and she most of all sucked. NOTEL: She does not curve NO matter how badly the class did. First exam- 70% of the class had below a C! HINT HINT!

This teacher is pretty easy. You can pass the class without going to lecture. Just download the slides off of WebCT. That's all she reads in lecture anyways. DO go to lab class though, because if you don't, you will miss out on A LOT of points.

she told us the tests would be hard, they weren't. i didn't study and pulled out a B on both exams so far. 'A' on the presentation and lots of extra credit pop quizes. class was boring and a lot of common sense but she knows her stuff pretty good. she's helpful if you need anything.

she tries to get you involved in learning with practicle examples but she makes you take a quiz and turn in homework EVERY week - even if you had a test that same week. her tests are meant to trick you. gpa was 3.8...i was lucky to get a "b" in her class.
