Comment:

Dr. Funk made economics fun. I really enjoyed his stories and how he related them to economics. Dr. Funk is really good at building on previous lectures such that by the time you complete his last lecture you will be using tools that he taught during your first class meeting. I would love the opportunity to take another class under Dr. Funk!

Comment:

Took survey of economics online with Dr Funk. The work is self is very easy, you just have to DO IT and you will receive full credit. The midterm and final however were difficult and I felt as if we were not very well prepared. Overall, I would recommend Dr Funk.

Comment:

Dr. Funk's MBA Econ class is great (I like Econ). His lectures are very interesting and relaxed. He makes the class fun $easy to understand by using real world practical examples. Two midterms & one comprehensive final. The tests are all essay and he provides old tests to study. TAKE THE PRACTICE TESTS & he'll give you feedback. Didn't use text.

He is one of the best professors I've ever had. He applies his lectures to the real world. He is funny and engaging. He understands students are people with lives, too and therefore, he doesn't get all bent out of shape if you have to miss a class or leave early. He doesn't use the book, because he knows the material and he actually teaches it.

International Economics. He teaches first half, his test isn't bad. Go to class, take notes and study. Its more of a theory class, not hard and you learn a lot. He wont kill you on grades, the project is easy and he gives lots of leeway. Econ teachers are great. Dr Funk is a really good guy too. No book needed

Nice and very helpful teacher. Required six assignments (very easy), a project (know your stuff but not too difficult), and three tests (the last is comprehensive). NO book. Read the notes he gives you- funny, sarcastic nature- and do the practice questions (some are directly from the test) and you'll do fine.

Great Prof!!! I have the opportunity of him being my advisor and my teacher. He totally understands your work load as a student and therefore gives a curve for those that cant totally handle his class. Never uses the book which is cool because since he's a smart guy his notes are easy to follow. I'd take his class again. Oh yea, he's cute.

Took MicroEcon Online, did not use text book to teach out of. Class was based on his notes. Thought he was very funny, helpful, and knowledgable. Gives a huge curve on tests to help students who are not econ majors, but makes the test challenging enough for those who are. Will be taking him again for Macro

He is the best. Very helpful and makes class fun. Cuts out all the crap from the text and gives his notes. I took his online class and even though online classes are hard he made the class fun and easy. Make sure you study otherwise you will do bad on the test.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Prof. He is so funny and he explains the material really well. He also posts his notes on webct, just in case you miss class or something. Take him for any of the economics classes that he teaches. He's great. Cute too, in a goofy sort of way.
