THE BEST PROFESSOR AT CSULB..... Amir LOVES what he does and is a very very smart man who will give you great advice about school and life. He has his PE license and is getting ready to pass the bar exam. It is absolutely a pleasure to have him as a professor. He wants his students to do great and will stay with you hours after class to tutor you.

Comment:

Funny professor who actually teaches the material. His goal is to make sure you learn the lesson before you even leave class. I learned more about the fundamentals of statics in this class than I did in my actual statics class! Tests are kinda difficult but he tells you exactly what to expect and he curves generously! Definitely reccomend him!

Dr. Amir is the best professor on campus. He'll teach you how you can relate what's been taught in class to what's going on in the real world. If you make an effort and show some kind of life, you'll pass this class. Just make sure you learn as well. That's the most important thing.

Took Amir for Statics. His lectures are great and he also provides insight into what real professionals do in the industry outside of class. Exams and Midterms were easy and he's good with partial credit as well.

This is the guy you want. One of the best teachers iv ever had, clear, concise, flexible. Totally understands how to teach someone a new subject, relates ideas to simple real world examples that are easy to grasp. can't speak highly enough. take him if he's teaching your class, you won't regret it!

Great professor. Lecture is straightforward and no nonsense. His humor may not mesh with you if you are sensitive, however he is caring and wants you to succeed. 90 percent of your grade is 2 midterms and the final so make sure you study. He goes over homework if asked but does not collect it for credit. Lenient grader on exams. Would take again.

Professor A. Aryan is an amazing professor in the construction department at Long Beach State. He gives clear and straightforward lectures, and truly cares about the well-being of his students and their success in school. I would take a million more classes with him. He made Statics very doable and made me confident in the topic.

took amir for ce 205 and ce 359. he will teach you the basics and how to UNDERSTAND. youtube lecture15 minutes, go to his office hours and he'll show you in 3. he wants you to learn, even if you have fallen behind on your basics he will reteach you in office hrs. do not ask DUMB questions in class; you're wasting everyone elses time!

Honestly, the best at what he does. The exams and quizzes are very straight forward if you follow his examples and do the home work( great for practice). The lectures are awesome. He expects a little bit out of you too, so don't expect to be spoon fed the whole way. Overall it was a great course because of his approach of teaching us.

This guy is garbage! at first he seems nice, saying the class is easy. But when you get the first test you realize he is a two face! He always claims the test will be so basic and it will be the same as the review. I CALL BULL! he called us back stabbers but in the end he stabbed all our backs. dont trust this guy he is out to fail you!

No need to get the textbook he emails you a solution guide to all the questions he wants you to know. Very good at teaching the subject. No homework. Two quizzes and two midterms, one final. Can be sarcastic and a little degrading. Overall funny and helpful. Easy to pass.

Amir wont hold your hand through the class, and doesnt police homeworks. So you can fall behind easily. But if you stay on top of homeworks and ask questions, he will gladly answer your questions. I don't know how much material other deformable bodies classes cover, but i'm pretty sure amir doesnt push his students that hard.

This is one of the BEST professors of my entire academic career. He will teach you so well that you don't need a formula sheet for his tests. He derives everything and sometimes even writes notes for the class so you can pay attention in lecture.The hw problems are not only to help you pass the test, but to understand real life situations.

Amir is a great teacher. he has a great sense of humor and understands college slang and humor. His class is really easy and all you have to do is 6 labs and then a lab report at the end. There is a final that is extremely easy. Thats it. Easy A if your a bright guy
