I took this distance ed. She is so picky on assignments, it's not really reasonable. I know she's probably passionate about this stuff, but not everyone else knows the exact wording she wants written down, and we're still learning so we obviously don't know the material like she does. She wants all... i mean ALL the details. Pick another prof.

I took this course by distance ed, looking for an easy way to satisfy my science requirement. Andrea is a picky marker. Had an A- in the class the whole time, but the final brought me down to a B. Final was short but the questions didnt allow you to show what you know. A lot of little details to remember rather than the whole picture.

I took this class via distance, so I've never actually interacted with Liceaga. She's a VERY picky marker on assignments and exams, if you aren't a science student, it's an eye opener. Very dull material, the course isn't a GPA booster in the least. Very responsive via Vista and email. If you're looking for a fun, easy class, this isn't it.

Great prof! She explains things very clearly and keeps interest in the class by giving us food samples and making the class more interactive. She definitely has a passion for what she is teaching. Exams are fair but for the short answer make sure you are very specific because she is very picky when it comes to that.

Really great prof. She answers all questions and is very clear when she teaches. Just be very specific on the exams, even if you think it's not important, still put it down for the question. It was also an awesome course, not to mention the food samples :)

Really tried to make the course interesting and easy to understand the concepts. However to get a good mark in the course, it not just understanding the material. You have to have all the details down on the cheatsheet

For the person who post the review TWICE, I have to balance this with my 2nd comment. I can't believe someone would call her a bad professor. If your whole intent is to achieve high marks, i don't know how easy/difficult it would be. but you gotta give her credits for actually teaching us with her expert knowledge and interesting content.

Understands what's important in a course. Created cheat sheets policy instead of bogging us down with details. I have 4 courses and this is the only course I looked forward to attending. Extremely useful and informative class, I recommend if you didn't do well in quiz/mid-term, that you go to her office to see what needs done for the final.

Really nice prof who makes the class interesting and quite clear. She is a picky marker, but you're allowed "cheat sheets" for the exams, so as long as you're thorough, you'll be fine. Food samples in class were a nice touch.

Is quite enthusiastic about this course. The midterms and finals are with a cheat sheet (still challenging to get over 80%). Fair marker on assignments.

She is a picky marker. Something that is worth one mark is actually worth about 5. Very detail oriented but she doesnt explicity tell you. Bad prof, not interested in her students doing well. No sympathy. Answers question vaguely, not very helpful. Not recommended. Course material is interesting tho, but a lot of work.

Very nice prof with interesting teaching skills. Attendence is mandatory since most of the quizzes and exams are based on what she teaches in class. She's very helpful inside and outside of class time and very willing to answer questions.

Wonderful teacher, enthusiastic, sociable and always willing to answer questions. I loved this class, although there is quite a bit of reading. Try not to miss class since she often pulls questions or small details from lectures for quizzes and midterms/final. It's not a bit deal unless you don't want to lose any of the little marks

I enjoy this course very much. There is a lot of work and readings but if you are organized it can be done. She is willing to go the extra distance to help students. The quizzes and midterm were fairly average.
