Never opened the book, got over %100 on all 4 tests! Best way to learn is by straight up going to class and listening to her short lectures and the videos. Listening examples are easy to recognize and whenever she says a fact and it's a test question, it most likely is a test question. Great class to take if you're trying to save money!! :D

A professor who is truly in love with what she teaches! I didn't need this class but I am glad I took it, It was really interesting and easy. 4 tests with study guides, one paper and extra credit opportunities all the time. She even brought a band in to play once hands down best Prof. I've met!

Cool teacher overall. She has a tremendous amount of experience with Jazz music which makes the class more interesting. The whole class was taught off videos and the tests were very straightforward. Easy class to get an A in if you put in the minimum amount of effort.

Easy class, the whole class was taught based on a documentary by ken burns. At times you will have to read in your textbook. She is Helpful and also a lenient teacher. Very sweet and kind teacher, always had a smile on her face as well. Highly recommend her! Definitely learned a lot about jazz and that was my goal :-)

Very easy class because she gives you a study guide for every test. Look up the answers in the book and pay attention to the films and it's an easy A. 4 tests, lowest dropped + 1 concert report and a cumulative final. Lots of extra credit ops. Fun class too, I really learned a lot about jazz and have a greater appreciation for it

Out of all the voice teachers Ive had she's the most useless. ask her how to do something, she'll say something like "Practice!!!" because she's too lazy to help you. After your performance she'll just tell u to sing the song in "soo"- dsnt rly help. in my class nobody really got bter cuz she was so apathetic twrds students' prgress. EASY A.

I really enjoyed this class. She says you need to book in order to pass: FALSE. I didn't have the book and I passed with an A. One concert report (you can go to a Jazz restaurant) and its a 2 page paper. EASY tests...just take notes in class. Previous test questions are on the final. Same exact wording and all. she's cool take her!!!

Extremely easy A! Just make sure you do the 18 hours of lab and have good attendance. She drops the lowest test grade and the tests are ridiculously easy if you follow the easy study guide. no one should have a problem getting an A on the final because its all of the same exact questions that were on the previous tests. Save your tests!!!

Wilkerson's gives great critique without slamming you. You will improve. No one gets embarrassed because the class is generally cool. It's an easy A and she's a lot of fun if you're cooperative. Just make sure you have your book, practice and don't make her shut you up. It's a fun class.

Comment:

Mrs. Wilkerson is really great. She improved my singing sooo much! She teaches simple but effective warm ups that are easy to remember. 3 performances are required and everyone in the class noticably improved by their 3rd one! I feel much more confident singing publicly now. The class size was small, too, so she knew everyone by name. Take her!

Awesome teacher Very helpful and a lot of fun, but you need to go to class. Easy A if you do the small amount of work there is and take her suggestions when you sing. Just try, if you don't get it right the first time she doesn't get upset.

Best teacher ever. Very easy A if you really study the study guides she gives which have exactly what will be on the test.One concert report, lab hours, 18 I think. Mostly watch videos..NO HOMEWORK!Final is off of previous tests. Drops lowest grade. Oh she has the most beautiful voice by the way! Easy A. answers questions right before test!
