I loved Dr. Verona. He's getting some years, so watch for little mistakes on his board work. Pay attention and you'll catch his jokes. He's just a laid back sweet old guy. Don't take him so seriously, he comes across that way but the twinkle in his eye gives him away. Nicest prof outside of class too.

He's ok. He teachs pretty good but the only thing that I didn't like was that he jumped around the chapter. He would be explaining one thing and then go to another. But overall he's good. If you go to his office hours he'll help you understand. The quizzes and tests are hard if you don't study or do your homework.

Dr. Verona is a pretty good professor. Not the best, I admit, but not too hard either. Tests and HW are okay.

The worst teacher I have EVER had! He does the problems wrong on the board. His response is I'm not taking the test! Takes a RIDICULOUS amount of points off on his tests.I busted my butt studying closing the library every night and helping other students before tests and got a D+ when he told me I would get a C. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

This man is awesome. He gives good test questions, gives lots of examples in class, and is not tough on grading (if you are one of those type of people who always makes silly little mistakes- it will not count against you!). He is nice and comes with the bonus of a cool accent.

Verona is all right, he's passable if you study, very nice and very considerate if the class is behind. Three tests and one final!

I absolutely clicked with his style of explaining. I plan to tailor my schedule around his teaching schedule to get him again. If you express a genuine interest in the subject he'll bend over backwards to help you on his own time. He is a very mellow and nice man too.

Comment:
Calculus III is probably the most difficult class in the series and Dr. Verona understands. He provides partial credit (eg: If you get the answer wrong on a test because of a computational error, he'll give you full credit if you get the Calc process right). Gives extra credit, pretty fun.

Verona is by far my best and easiest Calculus teacher so far. He is always willing to explain any concepts. He does confuse himself sometimes, but he always clarifies concepts eventually, and he gives the easiest possible questions on tests.

Comment:
Dr. Verona is a decent teacher. However, he is a little lazy. For example, the first couple of weeks he would lecture stragight off the top of his head. The next couple of weeks he would glance at the book during the lecture. The last couple of weeks he read straight from the book. Thus his lectures were stilted the last weeks of class. He is good.

I took half this class already at a community college. Dr. Verona explains better, and has easier tests than any calc teacher I've ever seen. Calculus is hard, stop being babies and go study instead of blaming a good teacher for your lack of time management skills.

He jumps around a lot and his tests are much harder than the HW. I learned mostly from reading the book fowards and backwards. Hes not too bad for 206 but dont take him for anything harder.

Even though he gave me a C, calculus is difficult subject matter, and I only blame myself for not doing better. If I would have gotten a B or A I probably would rate him 5 for ease.

He is the worst! He is basically repeating what the book says with very few examples. Tests are hard and doesn't tell you what he tests on so you end up studying 10 different sections but he only tests on 5. No big curve was offered for the first test.

Comment:
Lectures are confusing, jumping around and skipping so many steps. Test is hard not because it's hard, but because you don't get it. Very lenient curve though.
