Comment:

The greatest professor I've had so far in my college career. She cares so much about her students, prepares them well, and makes sure they're all on track. I don't think it's possible to fail her class, not because it's super easy material, but because she makes it so easy to understand. 11/10 would recommend.

I am taking Mrs. Silsby's AP1 lecture. Everything your tested on is based off your lecture packets and pearson homework. If you study exactly what she gives you than you will excel in her class. This is not a class that you can just slack off it is alot of information and she relays it very well!

She was phenomenal. Makes a dreaded, difficult class extremely doable. The course itself is very time intensive, but she was a great professor and lectures in a way that you truly remember the material. She's very enthusiastic while teaching and keeps you engaged. Her tests are extremely fair & taken directly from the note packets given in class.

Silsby is AMAZING. I had her for AP 1 and 2. The classes can be challenging but do the mastering and go to class. She will make sure you are 100% prepared for the test. Does not make you feel stupid and is funny, patient, and understanding. It's easy to tell that she enjoys the subject she teaches and loves teaching.

Mrs. Silsby was Great!! Very easy to understand and correlate the information with her note packs. Packets are given for notes. Study for tests with those and you'll pass. She is always very alive and keeps you awake

Mrs Silsby truly cares about what she is teaching and who she is teaching. As tough and awful as anatomy is, she makes it fun for you and tells you all kinds of crazy stories to help you remember things. she is absolutely a wonderful teacher and i love her as a person

If you are needing to take A&P lecture and lab this is the teacher to do them with! She is caring, always will answer questions and will always explain if you are confused! She makes the classroom a fun place to be in! I am looking forward to taking her for the second part of A&P!

What an amazing teacher! I cant say enough about her. She makes what should be a hard class not. You still have to work for it but her tests are literally right from the packets that you fill out during class. I would most definetly take her again.

Loved taking A&P from Silsby! She makes the material fun with her stories and is very easy to understand! Gives you chances to earn points on the exams just for doing the mastering homework! Very caring and always in a good mood!

Loved her! Had for two semesters and happy for that. Great lecture with fill in the blank notes. Pay attention and do the mastering since its extra points on tests. She gives great examples and makes it easy for you to learn. AP2 was faster pace than AP1 but ask her to clarify if you need. Overall she is fantastic! Take AP with her if you can!!

Silsby is the head of the nursing program. She wants all her students to succeed so she offers up to 6 points extra credit every exam. You must attend class to get the notes. I enjoyed her style of teaching. It made coming to class less dreadful.

Mrs. Silsby makes learning the material easier. Definitely do the online mastering homework because not only does it count for extra credit, but it reinforces her lectures which helps with the exams. Study, study, study her packets. If you know those inside and out, you will get an A because the exams are straight from the packets.
