He as a teacher is really annoying and very problematic. I would not recommend his class. He is very messy with his lectures, does not give updates on grades. If you take him for Chicano Studies i would wait and take it with another professor. He is funny but sometimes he says inappropriate things to students that he shouldn't be saying.

DON'T BE LATE! He will call you out on it in front of everyone lol but I loved this class, he was so random sometimes but it's so funny. Make sure you take good notes! And be prepared to be called on in class! No textbook and no homework, professors like that are my fave :) 2 midterms and a final, curved, drops lowest test score. Take him!

One of the best professors I've had a Palomar. He's super passionate about the subject, and no textbook is required. If you don't attend all his classes, then I guarantee you won't pass. His lectures are all verbal, so be prepared to write down everything he says. Lectures were always interesting! And you take a fun field trip to Chicano Park.

He's okay ,pretty sarcastic. Hates when people are late even by a minute. Can't miss more than 2 classes bc he will drop you. Very passionate about the subject. TAKE ALOT OF NOTES. Pretty much write everything he says down. Test are curved, bc they are hard. Overall good teacher you learn along from his crazy lectures. No textbook was a plus!

He's a funny guy, at first. But his jokes get old and his lectures are all over the place. HIs tests are pretty difficult even when I would study for them but good thing he curves the tests. If you're one minute late to class he will make a big deal out of it.

This guy is a hoot. This is a distance learning class, and he is going very easy on us. No regular assignments, just watch the videos, read the textbook, and follow up with the distance learning guide. His tests are medium-hard, but the cool part is that we get to go over the test afterwards, and debate the answers. Really nice guy.

Mr.Guerra is such a comical figure. Reminded me of an older version of George Lopez. He gets sloppy when covering his lectures on the board but he will go over everything that will be on the test and final and he always curves them, just have to take good notes and listen to the silly man.

this guy will make you laugh untill it hurts! great teacher, very helpful, puts you on the spot in a good way without pushing it, take notes b/c its moreimportant than the book. he does little demonstations that are just hilarious... Awesome teacher. I will never forget him. College Professors are so boring and dull theses days, there like robots. Mr.Guerra isn't like that at all, The Best Teacher I've ever had hands down. I'll never forget the the field trip in Chicano Studies!

Great teacher, passionate about what he does. I really enjoyed the class. Proff. Guerra is a hard grader though, I only had 2 graded assignments during the seemester. So there is no room for error, really. If you do bad on one of his graded assignments, chances are you wont get anything higher than a "C"

i had mr. guerra almost 10 years ago as my first professor in college. he was so awesome that i took his CS class, too. he is funny, and cares about what he teaches. almost 10 years later, i still think of him as one of my best professors, hands down. in fact i just recommended him to someone. take his class. he is great.
