I loved this woman, MS. Williams was the easiet engish teacher I've ever had, she cares alot for her students and lets you rewrite essays if you got a d or lower on them. she lets class out early all the time and hardly gives any homework. by far the best prof i have ever had. Take her class!!!!!

I think her way of teaching was different from my other college level english professors. I felt like i was in elementary school because she made us write journal entries everyday and share them with the entire class. Nothing we ever wrote had any credibility because we always wrote in the first person point of view, even for her research paper!

Very nice, teaching style is different then most teachers but thats why i like her. I loved keeping the journal. she made our class laugh, relax, and enjoy eachothers company. Service learning was the only down fall. it wasnt to to bad i did complete my 12 hours, it just time consuming

Prof. Williams was very helpful and taught me a lot about writing. She critiques your papers hard but thats the whole point of the class. Everything she had to say was useful. It's not necessarily an easy A, and there is a lot of reading & writing assignments, and she does not put up with BS, but I liked her and would take her again.

Good teacher but you have to be on your toes often because a lot of the grading is in the attendance and in keeping up with homework. The 12 hours of service learning are required for an A but that's just to give some challenge for A-students. The essays just needs to follow her formatting and she will give you your grade before the final.

stupid class, you dont actually learn anything. Graded on attendance, essay writing and homework assignments. Most classes you just talk about your feelings and she let's you leave early, never learn anything.

she is the best english teacher i have ever had. she makes class all about writing and she makes you a better writer. i used to be a horrible writer but now im great. all you have to do is follow her directions and you will do fine. the only bad part is that you have to do service learning to get an A. i would definitely recommend her though

She's an awesome lady, but an okay teacher. In a 50 minute class we spent 20 minutes writing/reading journals. For papers you have to write what she's looking for, not what you really think- kind of a bummer. Not very much homework.. 3-4 essays in a semester with 2 rewrites allowed at the end. service learning is REQUIRED for an A

Horrible is the best word to explain her teaching, but even that is an under statement. She isn't very nice, and she claims that she'll never talk bad about students. No she just makes examples of them. She told me kids are dying to get into her class. I'll put it this way 3 weeks in, of 20 desks 8 students remained of 12. And I never signed up.

Professor Williams was great. She does grade a bit hard on papers but you are allowed 2 rewrites. Participate in class and she'll love you. She is generous with things as long as she sees you trying. But in order to get an A, you must do some service hours. Overall, she's a great teacher who wants to see her students do well.

She was a strict grader on the papers, but you were allowed 2 re-writes. If you got under a C you had to re-write and for at least one paper more then half the class had to. She let people hand in work late and would give partial credit. Great for some students, but not me. To get an A you had to do 12 Service Learning hours. Okay, but not great.

She was a very difficult grader when it came to papers. It was almost as if she didn't realize that we were in an intro to english class and expected for us to write perfect papers. She's a great person, but if you have problems writing papers do not take her. She was very unclear about what she wanted until she got fed up at the end of the class

Comment:

Very cool prof, always willing to help at any lengths. Grades very easily, the final is only 20 points, the essays are what matter and again she goes to great lenghts to make sure your paper is up to her standards by final is due and often gives very descriptive suggestions or even help rewrite parts of your paper. She makes you do a short ritual and write in a notebook, both optional. Highly reccommend her for non-english majors.
