Tests are based on lecture notes and some of the material in the book. Imperative you attend class. His communication skills can be lacking. Not the worst professor in the world but I wouldn't recommend him.

Soooo boring!! All his test consist of true/false. Very monotone and overnotes(and required manual) are unlegible. Avoid at all cost.

Comment:

Eskin is in a comfort zone all to his own. He's been using the same style of notes (his own illegible handwriting) for years. His tests are just plain intimidating, unless you get more of his old tests. He speaks sorta like Ben Stein. He does get confused sometimes. Overall, avoid taking this class with him. Otherwise, bring a pillow & a recorder!

He is not good overall. He is disorganized. If you are interested to get more out of this course, choose another instructor. If you like an easy A, but learn less, he would be the right professor for you. His lectures are boring. He has a bad handwriting. Attending lectures makes it easier to understand his notes, which helps you make A easier.

good professor, only that he talks thousand words per sec!need to attend class and pay close attention to his lecs 'cause 75% would be on test. He's not very helpful but he would drop the lowest grade + curves.
