the worst ever professor that I had. this class was online. she put some videos to explain how to solve the problems!! but most of them you should learn by yourself. too much assignments and if you miss one no excuses will be accepted and she is ready to fail everyone... just run and choose another professor!

She uses Connect and has a "Smartbook" section you have to do for credit and it's literally 100+ questions you have to answer and most of them are repetitive and it takes hours just to do this one assignment. On top of that good luck trying to do the homework because it is extremely difficult and there is no multiple choice. Very stressful class.

the worst teacher I ever had, ACCT 201A is a 3 units course, but the assignment takes as much time as you have a 6 unit course, she uses connect and learn smart, each chapter includes 6-10 assignment in connect, multiply each to 2-6 and add learnsmart Q, 70 Q pet chapter. 130pages slide for a 20 pages book! she is so rude and not responsive. Voyles is a fair professor. I find her credible. Comes off as strict and stubborn, but she easily gives people second chances and plenty of extra opportunities, you just have to ask. The class is difficult, but I was able to understand most of it after reviewing and studying. If you don't do the work you won't get it. Plain and simple.

great accounting professor!!! LITERALLY takes you by the hand in accounting. take her if you have a hard time in math. the homework is online and counts towards the grade to help bad test scores. I wish I could take her for 116B.

Withdrew from Vierson's class and took it again with Voyles. I am glad I made that choice. Professor knows her stuff. Very organized. She will put you on blast if you are late. Expect A LOT of hwk and partner quizzes. Study guide and cheat sheet for the 2 tests! Difficult subject, but Voyles takes you by the hand. Take her! She really cares!

You must attend class because of partner quizes weekly! In addition if you attend class your homework is much easier-- one problem I had is that the online homework is different than how she explains it often. There is a lot of work but she makes it do-able. Page of notes for in class test. Rest of test are online. Great teacher!

Voyles is there before class so she was able to answer questions. In-Class Assignments are nearly weekly so coming to class is a must, helps you learn the material and adds points to your grade. This class is time intensive because 5 probelms often have many parts & can take hours to complete. Homework, most tests online so you can use book/notes.

Lot of information covered in class. The professor was always available before class to help. The in class assignments really helped on doing the homework. The first 3 exams and part 1 of the final are online. The last portion of the final was due in class. By far, my favorite accounting professor. Everything was clear and concise.

Voyle is cool. Shes helpful and really nice. Everything is online including the final so you never need a book. Classes are all power point. Very boring. Shows up 1 hr prior to class to help. She alright by me.

She's really nice. Partner quizzes every week that you can't leave without completing correctly really help out your grade. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. Tests and homework done on myaccountinglab. ARP project is simple and she clearly explains what she expects.

Very Excellent teacher.She covers alot of information every class. Though it is a matter of keeping up with the hw. She allows one page of notes front and back for every in-class exam. Honestly, the way I got an A was just a matter of knowing what to put on your sheet of notes. If you work hard for the class, you will get an A!

It isn't an easy class but if you don't miss class and do your homework it isn't hard to pass or even do well. The teacher will set time aside to meet with you and explain any concepts you may have missed. A. Voyles cares about her students and will help you succeed. You need to do your share of the work. It helps to read chapters before class.

The teacher came well prepared to class, explained clearly and repeated when asked. Paced the class nicely and offered projects and opportunities for struggling students to succeed in the class. The new homework software we used and tested was very helpful and made homework a little more interesting and enjoyable. A very good class!!

Do not take her class, had her online, does not answer e-mails, does not explain anything, book is good, but her test problems are problems that book never really went over for the most part, I am "A" straight student and busted my behind and got a "B", ruined my perfect GPA. Audrey Voyles somehow manages to take one of the coolest and most interesting subjects in Finance and turn it in to the worst experience of your life. Don't listen to her, just read the chapters carefully, especially if you want to major in finance. Accounting is much easier than she makes it.

Comment:

This class was very hard and the teacher was very strict. She is very knowledgable in this subject and knows a lot and taught it expecting us to know the materials, I didnt get anything in her class and had to work extra hard to get an A. Her quizzes are open book and exams are kinda hard, her lectures are hard and confusing.
