Professor St.Gean is a very nice and friendly teacher, he is always eager to help. However, he is a bit unclear at times. The things on the study guide are sometimes not mentioned though they are in the book. You need to pay attention to the lectures. He does tend to go off topic at times but overall he is a great teacher and is very helpful.

Tests are straight from the textbook and he usually prepares a study guide so you know what will be on the test. Hes very understanding and approachable, and loves to talk about surfing and his world travels! Easy class if you do the work, hardest part is reading the long boring chapters in the textbook.

I took his Physical Geography Lab in the Fall '10 Semester and although he gets off topic quite a bit (in both classes) - he LOVES what he teaches. He is super knowledgeable. If you fail his class, it is simply because you did NOTHING. He is a pretty easy grader. Super laid back and friendly. Definitely recommend his class!

I did not enjoy this class at all. The lectures had nothing to do with what we were reading in the book or what we were tested on. I started to find that I could miss multiple classes, show up and get the review sheet, take the tests, and get a B. I don't know whether that is good or bad but it frustrated me. Test questions were not always easy

Interesting man and extremely nice. He makes the class fun. Test are easy, just read the book, take notes on his lectures and you'll be set; there's no way you'll fail his class. His tests consist of multiple choice only, which are easy. You'll do project
