I have a good grasp of math so this was an easy A, but I would highly recommend her for any student who struggles with math, she listens to students and goes over content in detail. She also sings math songs that are adorable! However you can take her seriously, she's here to help you learn the content. A bit unorganized but not distractingly so.

This was Barb's first time teaching MAT125 in quite some time. She occasionally bumbled and fumbled over what is what but overall the class was great. She is an amazing professor who actually loves to teach and help her students.

I was very nervous taking MAT 121. I have always been terrible at math. However, she was the only professor I have taken Algebra with and passed! She is a very straight forward grader. If you get a question wrong, it's wrong. There was no retakes for the tests. I am def taking her again.

I took her for math121 she is super nice and funny. she grades how it is, if you do the problem wrong its wrong. Go to class and take notes and you will pass, her tests are exactly what you go over in class, and my math lab is all extra credit. I loved her

I struggle with math and found her extremely hard to follow. She made mistakes often and her lecture notes were long, nonsensical at times, and seemed thrown together. Often said let's use our natural math sense to solve which isn't helpful when you don't get math naturally Nice woman, but you'll be teaching yourself and using tutors a lot.

You need to be ble to be willing to work hard in this class. Some of the lessons were confusing and found I needed to go to the math lab for assistance. Mrs. Aaker teaches several classes at different campuses and this made it difficult to meet up with her for out of class assistance.

She made the subject fun and was not afraid to be weird and different than all the other professors. she sang to us in class about all the different math rules and properties. I highly recommend this teacher. She cares and is very sweet

Best professor I ever had. She really cares that you understand. Math is not my favorite subject. She gives you ample help and chances to earn points. Attendance is mandatory but as long as you show up and try she will work with you. I wish she was teaching Calculus next semester!
