Comment:

Professor Bronie is an amazing professor! She does give a lot of homework, but its really to prepare you. Before every exam she gives out study guides that are similar to the ones on the exam! She genuinely really cares about each student, and she wants everyone to pass her class. Definitely would recommend if you struggle with math.

Comment:

Professor Bronie is a great teacher that truly cares about her students' success. She's a good choice if you're just starting out, or have struggled with math in the past. There's a lot of homework and the tests are relatively easy. The one negative thing I can say is that she's hard of hearing, so you have to repeat yourself sometimes.

Comment:

Prof. Bronie has been teaching math at SMC for decades. She's sweet, organized and, ivy-league-trained. More importantly, she is very caring with her students. She makes herself accessible outside of class to help one-on-one. Her tests are fair. Do the work, attend class, study as expected with any math class, and you will do well in her class.

Comment:

Professor Bronie really cares about her students excelling in mathematics Shes very charismatic about the subject. Be prepared to memorize the methods that she requires for solving certain equations, lots of homework and tough grading. Overall, shes a great teacher that pushes her students.

I started off with an F but i immediately went for help during her office hours. she can explain complex ideas extremely simple and it was a joy to have her as my professor. Before each exams she prepares the class with a practice exam so make sure you complete that before the test. Great professor if you want to learn the beauty of algebra!!

Professor Bronie's course definitely kept me on my toes. She's a tough a grader but only because she wants you to succeed in math. All of her exams are cumulative. I missed a few days here and there and it definitely set me back. I would take this class if you want to strengthen our math skills. Overall, she's a great professor.

As much as taking this class sucked in the moment, I'm so glad I took her class! I'm now in math 20 and for once in my life math is making sense because she gave me a solid foundation for math. She makes you work hard, but it's so worth it. Do her extra credit if you can, participate, ask questions, go to office hours. The hard work is worth it!

If you really want to learn, dont take this class. She teaches the class like if its a middle school math class. She moves on to fast and doesnt make the lessons clear and understandable. So much homework . Horrible math professor

Shes good. Old school and she still uses a chalk board. She give a lot of homework but does not really check it unless you were late or absent. Your grade depends on the tests which are a huge chunk of your grade. However everything is on the study guide so youre okay. Attendance isnt enforced but its up to you to learn what you missed.

Comment:

Bronie is so sweet and she is always so jovial. She is great at lecturing and her tests are challenging but not impossible. I think she has less homework than most math 31 professors, but there is still a lot (not her fault though). Her final is fairly easy too. There is multiple extra credit possibilities, so do take advantage of that!

Lots of homework assigned- she only checks it if you're late/absent. Her tests are about 25-30 questions, but doesn't curve grades. Lectures are sometimes hard to follow. Don't miss class you'll miss so much, she covers a lot very quickly. She also only uses a chalkboard, so don't take her class if you have a problem with chalk noises.

She is an excellent teacher!! I haven't taken math classes in years and I came in very insecure about my math skills. She completely restored my confidence in math and about life in general. If you want a do over in math and want to really understand and enjoy the material, Professor Bronie is the professor to take! I wish I could take her again.

Professor Bronie is so nice and sweet to everyone. She gives a lot of homework and makes you work hard so if you are considering taking her class you must make sure you will be able to do your homework and come to class on time.

Professor Bronie is such a great teacher! Do the homework, study and ask questions and you will pass her class. She provides her students with a lot of useful handouts and resources to prepare you for her tests and to gain a better understanding of Math. Her class is not easy, but its worth it. She wants all her students to succeed.

She is impossible and not clear with her grading. She reads off the book and lectures for 2 hours straight. Half the class dropped at the 8 week mark. Never take her.
