She loves what she does and it shows. She wants her students to learn so she covers the important things a lot and tells you what will be on the test. Her tests are hard but so is the subject matter. She grades all things in a good time frame. I would recommend if you need a ANT credit take her class.

I took her after I had failed. She really broke it down to understand. Don't know what the others are talking about but she is the best!!! She never got irritated( maybe a little with others). You GOT to DO homework. She gives short breaks but that is to cover in detail all the material needed to pass this class. I highly recommend her.

Shes a good teacher! i took her twice, uses MYMATHLAB and its really helpful. im horrible at math but i made a B then a A in her class! its going to take some hardwork if your not too good at math but you'll get it if you try! only thing i could say is she seems to be irritated when you go for help..overall good teacher!

She is not willing to help you outside of class. Not flexible with or understanding of family emergencies! she should teach elementary NOT COLLEGE! WOULDN'T EVEN RECCOMMEND HER TO AN ENEMY!

She's a great professor. Go to class, do your my math lab homework and do the test reviews and you should be able to pass. She does reviews before the tests (VERY HELPFUL). She's a nice lady, and knows what she's talking about. Dont buy the book, you wont need it. You WILL have to buy a my math lab code.

Well I took her for summer one and she seemed ok. I never used my math lab before and i didn't mind that at all..She is ok I like her and would recommend her if you are a slow math learner but you need to put in your hours as well of study!

She seems nice enough in class but when you actually go to her for help she looks annoyed. Also she uses mathlab, horrible, It doesnt matter if you get the problem right,if you enter it at all wrong it will be wrong and you will have to redo the problem again. She is a very nice lady and a good teacher if you want to be a math teacher someday and need the difinitions and vocabulary. If you are at all good at math dont take her, you will be bored to death. But in saying that she is a nice person...not always as helpful as she seems in class.

She does not use a math book, your homework is done online. She is available to meet with you if you don't understand something. There are easy ways to earn extra credit. Just don't be tardy or not come to class.

I don't recommend Hughes. I made the mistake of doing a class change into her class, huge mistake. She made me do a weeks worth of make-up time in the math lab. Not only that, but she was not a good instructor.

She gives very clear instructions and steps in class, but beware if you miss a class or two she isn't too forgiving. All the homework is turned in through My Math Lab online so if you don't have a computer you shouldn't take her. She gives reviews for every exam and also sets aside special time outside of class to go over them.

WOW!!! She is a very sweet and happy lady. and an awesome teacher with interesting fun lectures and very helpful and very understanding. its like being in elementary school. she also lets you do extra credit and keeps you busy outside math class and excellent for learning. I recommend her to anyone especially who has trouble with math.

Mrs. Hughes is an awsome teacher. I learned so much during her class. She goes so slow just to make sure everyone understands. She also gives you extra credit just make sure to keep up with the HW then you won't get left behind. She is always willing to help you after class if you have any questions. I really want to take her for college algebra.
