He isn't my favorite professor, but he could be a sweetheart at times. He was easy when it came to giving us work, but he expected a lot from us at times and was spontaneous with work... He says one, but his actions says another. If you have knowledge about Dev C++/computer in general and love being challenged, he is for you. Advice: SIT IN FRONT

It's a pretty straightforward class, especially if you took his CS1 class. Along with that: Pros: *Usually explained the material well *Clearly explained what we had to do for each assignment/quiz *Zybooks was an good online textbook Cons: *Accent can get in the way sometimes *Didn't explain some needed material before an assignment sometimes

He knows his stuff and tries his best on explaining things, every time he explains something he asks "Questions for me?" so everyone is on the same page, people that don't understand his class are generally the ones that never ask when in doubt, he does care and tries hard if you don't understand what he's speaking of.

Knowledgeable but doesn't know how to teach. You learn more from the book than from him. His teaching is backward for he gives you an assignment first than teaches the material afterward jumping around it, confusing you further. Unless you already have some knowledge in this field, you will struggle with him even though this is a beginner course.

This is professor really cares about his students but you have to ask questions in order for him to help you. Approach him outside of class if you are not understanding something and ask questions in class if you are feeling lost. Be sure to read and keep up because if he thinks everyone understands he will move on to the next chapter.

Good Professor. He is the first to venture out and teach Intro to Game Dev, which isn't his discipline so he is learning along side with you. Keep in mind this course is barely being available on the Brownsville campus. He is teaching us as best as he can with the knowledge he has.

I took Siddique for Web Programming and he was pretty clear. The assignments aren't very hard and he curves a lot. He's changed I guess? Anyway, choose him for web programming.. but, then again, knowing UTB, he may be your only choice.

He is hard to understand at first but then you get used to him and understand him perfectly. He is really funny and extremely helpful. As soon as you finish your work in class, you can leave. The quizzes he gives have the exact same questions as the on the midterm and final.

Online Course - Horrible instructor and I am an instructor at another college. He doesn't teach the material, he just shows you examples, which don't explain anything. If you need help, you're on your own as he doesn't respond to e-mails. Midterm & Final were over material he didn't cover or that came up later in the course. Stay away from him!

HORRIBLE! Only take this class if you have to. I am taking the online class and don't even bother watching the video lectures; you can not understand a word he says. You must teach yourself in this class. He does give you a course assignment schedule and follows it. Go to www.lynda.com first to actually learn then take this class for the credit.

Took sidiqque for Prog 2. Worst professor ever! He does not go over HW, I could barely understand him. He'd rather go over powerpoint than actual programs! Good luck with this professor. He always starts class late so he tries to keep you after class! Useless quizzes don't help on Final exam. As another user said, the book is your professor.
