This is one of the best professors that Ive had at Nova! I recommend him for any science course. He explains well and wants to help ALL students. He is highly recommended!

Professor Barker is outstanding! The assignments for this class are relatively easy and straightforward! The assessments are relatively easy by studying up the lectures for the course! The project is straight up easy, and the final for this class is just a review on how you think about a book. Overall, this course should be an easy A! Good luck!

There are a bunch of assignments BUT they are all online. All the quizzes. There are small papers you'll have to type but they are like 2 paragraphs. Easy A. No discussion. Literally submit everything before the end of the term whenever you want and you'll pass with an A

Professor Barker is hands down one of the best professors here at NSU. We do have a fair share of unapproachable or difficult professors but professor Barker is one of the professors who likes individual study and work. You have assignments and quizzes that are due weekly. Once you do the assignments you are pretty much guaranteed an A.

Professor Barker is an amazing professor! If you can, take him... Not only is his class easy but you learn a lot from the different, but easy assignments you do. There are no exams in this class.

Super easy professor! He kept the class short and all hw and quizzes are submitted online. I spent less than an hour each week working for this class. There is 1 project, but no papers/tests. Impossible not to get an A. LOVED IT!

As a business major, I was very nervous about taking a science class. His class was very current and modern. Most of his lectures included video presentations. All quizzes and projects are submitted online. The final is an oral exam which actually becomes very fun. Missing class will make the oral final very tough.

Barker tries to scare you to drop the course, but don't! Just do the work and the A will come. Tests are open book and you can take them twice and you have 2 hours to take them.

This class was VERY boring and his personality isn't far behind. However, whenever I needed help he was there to explain. Gives a lot of work and the quizzes are from the book. If you do all your work and come to class you'll pass. Thsi class is definitely not for lazy people.

Comment:

Barker and Environmental studies was a joke. The first day he tries to scare you by saying that you won't pass, you should drop the class, only gives out about 2 A's etc. This was a lie. You can easily get a B or higher. The powerpoint notes are useless dont waste your time taking them.

Take his class its the easiest a you'll ever get. The impact statement and the homepage is easy I did mines in one day. You get to take the quizzes twice, use ask.com most of the answers can be found. You will not need the book at all. Get a used one, he's bluffing; he won't make you ripe anything out.

Took online version.Tests were extremely hard.Some of the stuff was not covered in the book! Project was a little silly, some people did horribly and got good grades, some put in effort and got bag grades. He wasn't very involved in the course and took forever to answer emails. He authored the book, no wonder he made such a fuss about getting it!

He's a radical guy. This class is interesting for the info on pesticides and the environment. Easy A, get in and get out.
