Don't understand why he is even in a leadership position at such an expensive university; claims students are his top priority but does nothing to help them in any way. Don't be fooled by his jolly old man rouse. He is the #1 reason why I am grateful I no longer attend SJU

Comment:

Prof. Mangione is helpful and caring. I had him for social aspects of pharmacy. He barely asked for anything for the class. Just showing up with 2 min papers, mid-term paper and final. The final was straight from the presentations and he told us clearly what he wanted for each thing. He was caring and nice and very knowledgeable about the class.

Comment:

Dr. Mangione is one of my favorite professors, I had him for US Health Care Delivery. He is an amazing professor, his lectures are easy to understand and he is able to answer any questions. One midterm and a final, and 25% of our grade was based on a book club where you just had to read and answer questions. Also he is just a genuinely good person.

What exactly has he done as provost? Increase thition exponentially every semester, making courses harder so students cant pass and putting professors that get good reviews from students on probation while tenuring those that need to go. Anyonr who thinks hes a good guy needs to get their heads checked. He does nothing for students nor does he care

I had him the first day in an introductory course of Clinical Pharmaceutical Practice. The way he put me down within five seconds was unbelievably painful. It was as if he wanted me out of the university. I switched over to another CPP 1101 class because I was in no mood to be tortured for a whole semester. Best of all he's the Pharmacy Dean. GLHF.

Is the head dean of the once very good pharmacy program. It's unbeleivable how much he does not care for students and even shows it. I now go to the other pharmacy school in New York, over there I know that the head Dean, Dean Gross is much better.
