Even with musical background, he made this class more difficult than needed to be. The class is not only very boring, but hard. Because of how boring it is, it makes it hard to pay attention. There is no way I would have passed the class if I had no musical background.

Nice, patient, understanding as prof. Ineffective teaching however IMO, Isn't difficult on work-load and lets out early. He's available to talk after class and he's very positive. His teaching style was difficult for me to keep up. You're expected to answer questions from the book and he goes over them. When he goes over, you might still be lost

he is so annoying, his tests are mostly multiple choice. he keeps you the full class time but he does give a short "working" break. you should participate. dont talk to your friend cuz he puts you on the SPOT.

Great professor. Knows how to make you understand the concepts they are trying to teach. He will go over it until the class gets it. Very knowledgeable on the subject. Do the Martin Method assignments. They will help you with the tests. Gives good reviews before the exams also.

This man can teach. I took 114 and got a C with another professor but in 121 i have no struggles, dont have to study much, exams are right from martin method, very easy course without having to dedicate too much time on it.. Take him. ends class early and gives a break

i agree hes funny and a great guy,very laid back when he teaches also a very calm prof. he doesn't pressure u. i cant say i learned much in his class, he doesn't get ur attention nor motivates u. the way he teaches puts u to sleep. i was expecting more since the review r so great, but for me i didn't get much out of this class

Great professor! He uses his own made online program for the class called the martinmethod. Study his program and pay attention in class - easy A. Very fair with homework- gives you a couple of days to finish it. Tests are easy if you study except for 1-3 curveball questions. He genuinely wants you to learn the subject matter and will always answer any questions you have. To summarize: easy going professor, great study tool in his online program, easy A if you apply yourself.

He's a fantastic professor. Just get his program. Read the text from it, do the h.w and assignments, as well as the practice problems you do in class. That's it. 60% tests (3), 25% final, and 15% h.w. You'll get an A :-).

Such a sweetheart, teaches very clearly and slowly and will explain until everybody understands it. I've been told he is a different person for 121 but he seems to be much more easygoing than in 114. You just have to keep up and read the textbook. Had scarinci and dropped her after a week.
