First day of class and Linda is already being EXTREMELY dark and not very inspiring telling us to drop the class if were not good at math which is lovely because almost no one is. She felt the need to go on and on about past grades that her students got and according to her, 60% Of her students ended with Cs. GREAT. -11/10 would not recommend.

Her tests are absolutely ridiculous, riddled with horrible formats that includes short answer questions. As for notes, it is inconsistent and disorganized, talking all over the place, making it hard to understand. Avoid this professor if you can and look for someone else that is better.

Believe the other comments here about Prof. Coull being depressing. She's Doom & Gloom at best, but if you can get past that, she does give really good notes. She has 3 tests and a final, so it spaces the material out, but the tests are DIFFICULT, but curves the grades. She does give you extra credit for optional HW she assigns in class.

Alright, She talks a lot during lectures, so you HAVE to listen because some key information will be spoken and not written. The exam will test you on EVERYTHING. If you write notes and only focus on what you think is important, you'll get a low grade. Barely any multiple choice questions, mostly short answers; so KNOW YOUR STUFF. Do not slack.

This woman does the opposite of what a professor should do. She tears down the class and tells us were all not going to succeed and tortures you with ridiculously long exams. Stay away, she makes a 100 level class difficult and likes to see students fail/drop/

HAHA!! Hardest class at CSI. The Test are no joke they are super long. Class started with 35 students only 13 were there for the midterm. She is super mean! Please stay away.

i saw these reviews before enrolling and was like eh ill be fine i always study ill just push myself.. DO NOT DO THIS. i promise she will ruin your gpa. she is miserable and will not answer your questions. if your test answers arent 2 paragraphs in detail you will get 1/5 points. see for yourself i dare you, get ready to teach yourself macro

She's a tough teacher but gives you a chance to improve your grade, she can go off on tangents sometimes and not cover the material. She uses the text book heavily so definitely do the optional homework problems she assigns, the test questions are based off them. My only issue is that the test are all short answer which can be difficult for Eco.

If you think you're not going to study in her class, you should reconsider taking her. A lot of people complain about how hard her tests are but she tells you what is going to be on the test so you just have to listen to what she says and you'll do fine. The more you study the better youll do. Homework isn't mandatory she uses it as extra credit.

Lets just say the first day of class there were 40 students, and only about 10 passed. EXTREMELY hard grader. Her tests are all long answers, no multiple choice. Her notes are all over the place. I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy.

I don't believe she's knowledgeable in the subject area. She spoke more about her personal views and less about the material. What she understands I learned in eco 101. She spends a lot of time on. She cannot answer questions adequately, relies heavily on the textbook. Did pass her class but wasn't prepared for Eco 212. Not knowledgeable in Eco.

Miserable woman and has a negative attitude towards the class. The amount of hours spent studying for her 100 level exams are more than I've ever spent on my 300 level courses.

Absolute worst professor for any class I've ever taken in my entire life. Miserable lady, literally the most confusing teacher you will ever have. I have a 3.4GPA and got an A in microeconomics, and I have not gotten over a C on any test I've had so far (3). Highly recommend to stay away unless you want your GPA to significantly drop!!!
