Overall great course. Available in office all the time. I just wish that the clas didnt feel intimidating or that their wasnt so much pressure on the students. However her class is very good when it comes to prepping for writing lesson plans or the Ed TPA.

Becky, you pushed us all. You made a nerve-wracking (albeit exciting) major into one that was challenging yet not impossible. Your teaching shapes teachers, and I am thankful every day for your guidance and approach to education. As someone who struggled with math for years, being taught the concepts of elementary math was like opening up a whole new world! Becky knows exactly what she's talking about. Go see her at her office hours! She sincerely cares about how you're doing in her class, and in school overall. Sweet, funny woman!

She is an amazing women with a great sense of humor. She really takes her time to make sure that everyone understands what is going on. If you have any questions at all, go and see her during office hours. She is an even more lovely and helpful lady outside of the classroom. =]

Becky is an incredibly inspiring professional educator. I learned more in her class about forward-thinking cutting edge instruction than any other. I liked her and I wish I could've learned more Math in the new way she taught it so I could take it with me when I teach. She is intelligent and last I knew she was working on her Doctorate. Grading is pretty strict.

Comment:

If you want to know the best way to teach math so that the kids will understand then take this course. If you want to know how to make learning fun in general take this class! Becky is an amazing person who is easily approachable, her class is very real world related, and the final is a fourth grade math test. Future teachers, try to be more like Becky!

Loved this class! She kept the class extremely interesting and up beat. Playing music at the start of class was great. I got many great ideas for my own class!

IF YOU TAKE THIS TEACHER YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY LIKE MATH!!!!!! she is great! fun projects and always does stuff that you might actually use in the classroom! i can't wait to take some more classes from her!
