Really nice guy, gives out TONS of information in his lectures that will be on the test. Does NOT like people missing his class, and isn't understanding in that regard. Be aware you won't use the textbooks the entire term (two that are required he wrote himself). Not a bad class, just make sure you're there for all the classes!

Good, solid instructor. Organized. Taps your senses. Motivating - I went exploring people/things he talked about in class. Intelligent. A human being; no ego issues. Fun projects; some in group work which can have a downside (from the group, not the instructor). I will take again for humanities. Up for instructor of the year - deserves to win!

I thought the class was just going to be another boring history class, but instead I really got into it and actually LEARNED a LOT. As long as you put an effort into keeping up with his notes and looking over the study guides, you should have no trouble getting an A in the class. Good teacher and good class.

You can learn a lot in Dr. B's classes but you have to work hard if you want good grades. I thought his lectures were kind of boring at first, but I got to know him better while taking one of his Honor's courses and I enjoyed his teaching more in a smaller class setting. He's intelligent, open-minded, and nice. A great person as well as a teacher!
