Comment:

Beth is soooo sweet. Intro to theatre was fun and easy. The exam is a 10 minute play you make with a group of 10+ people. You do not have to act if you don't want to. Only presentation was a 30 second monologue you needed to remember. Lectures were interesting and "quizzes" were only online. She basically gives you the quiz questions.

Comment:

I put "test heavy" as one of the tags, but the tests are a MAX of like 15 questions and she gives a study guide for each one. She is so sweet and caring, and worked with my grade when I talked to her about some issues I was having. The material is fun (I love musical theatre) and she is super passionate about what she teaches. Highly recommend!!!

Comment:

Doesn't really stand out among my professors. Not amazing, not bad. Lectures are usually boring and dull, but it's not her fault, it's just what she's teaching. But she practically gives you the answers before quizzes, making her class very easy. Very nice and outgoing, quite entertaining.

Professor Guest is a great teacher. Lots of notes and you have to try and take them all, but she does it over power point, and makes sure to stop and let you copy before changing sides. She wants you to succeed and enjoy her class.

This class was really the most enjoyable class. It felt like family. I was never really into acting and never even considered it until I took her acting 1 class. There was only one test and some pop quizzes that didn't count. She knows what she is doing and loves acting. If you want an easy and fun class take this class with beth guest.

Beth is a wonderful person and has made me remember why I chose to go into theatre. Her class was EXTREMELY helpful. Rumor has it she's coming back to teach Realism in Winter '04!!!
