Professor Zwicker is an incredible professor. His teaching can sometimes be quick-paced but he makes himself very accessible during office hours and you can always schedule appointments with him. You always know what is expected of you. Try not to miss class and do all homework assignments because it will help you with tests and quizzes.

Comment:

Explaining logic and set theory is not easy-- he does it well. Spent most of my spring term on work for this class. He was an understanding grader in the end. The best teachers are those that are passionate about their subject, and you could feel Zwicker's love for math.

When I started this course I was lost.I basically failed the first quiz and was going to drop, but I went to see Professor Zwicker once and he showed me that he was eager and willing to help me whenever I was struggling. With his extra help I was able to pull my grade up and actually begin to understand the material. Best professor I've ever had.

Comment:

Zwicker is one of the most straight forward math teachers I've ever had. He is very fair w/ grading & adjusts his office hours to the students. If there's something you don't understand, he works with you until you get it. Lively and engaging. If you take MTH 199, I recommend him 100%! Be AWARE, he assigns hw that takes ~3 hours/week to complete.

Very good prof. Lectures exceedingly clear, constantly available for help outside of class, and I found this help beneficial when I took advantage of it. Class was put together extremely well. I have no criticisms of his pedagogy, which makes him almost unique.

Amazing professor. I had him for math & politics- he made it really interesting. It was kinda hard for a sub 100 level course, but I didn't even care because he was so great! Very helpful during office hours too.

very intelligent prof! He is well organized and has a logic mind. Homework is complicated and tough, but you can get extra point if you do all the bonus questions. He's a wonderful and smart prof and he is so patient and enthusiastic!

By far one of the most entertaining math professors. Approachable. Despite tough HWs, exams were very easy to prepare for; most exam problems are ones you've seen before so you just have to put the time in. Will give you extra points if you come up with a solution different than what he has. If you ever take math, get this guy at least once.

For the non-math types this is a great course! You don't have to do the homework (tells you which assignments must be handed in, not many) but if you study for the quizzes and tests you should do fine. He is a very fair teacher. You can refute lost points on exams with reasonable justification. Wants you to succeed!
