This professor says he cares, but really, he don't. I asked questions on the problems to try and receive help and he don't take his time to explain. His classes is mostly based on a calculator, if you don't get one, I guess you are not passing. He's lazy, he told me to watch videos on youtube on how to do a problem I was struggling with. DONT TAKE.

Bob is a fantastic professor. I've taken him twice now. He goes through everything step-by-step. He takes time to answer everyone's questions and does not rush through material. If you attend class, take notes and do the homework, you'll pass!

Best Math teacher. I got an A and I am not good at math. Good personality gives extra credit and has his own website with text book and lessons. He is super chill and makes math understandable would definitely recommend taking him.

Prof Ramirez is amazing!!! I actually like math but other professors at Chaffey make it so unenjoyable with their use of online homework programs that have shown they are worse for student retention. He goes thru all the problems and you do the homework pages from his website. I learn by doing the problems over and over not with a program. TY sir.

Best Teacher Ever!!Had him for Summer, lectures very understandable. He cares for his students, h.w is fair and everything that he teaches is according to h.w and tests so if you do them you'll get an A. it's not too hard. he also drops the lowest grade of your test. Mr. Ramirez is very understandable with attendants. Wish to have him next class.

Ramirez is awesome! Super chill professor. Took him for summer 17' He has his own website so you don't have to buy a textbook. Hw is due only on test days. He has a review day before each test. Explains the material well. Makes learning math a breeze. Pretty funny and sarcastic sometimes but overall a great professor. Enjoyed his class.

I took this math professor at VVC, Spring of 2016. He is simply the best math professor I've ever had. His lectures are easy because he explains complicated assignments in the easiest form. I can't wait to take him again!

really good teacher .. explains really well and offers extra credit .. i love the way he teaches i wished he would have taught other math classes.. he really is a good teacher i mean really he helped my sister in math and i mean she's not good with math and she passed his class... makes math really fun and sometimes lets you retake tests..

TAKE HIM!! he gives practice testes so you know what to expect and uses his own website for extra homework sheets. I had a really hard time with math FOREVER! and he got me through that fear barrier i had NO JOKE it took 20 years but i finally got over my fear! he'll help you out as much as he can. Don't be a lazy student & use the success center!!

his class is easy, just take notes and on his website he has practice test and they are almost the same on the real test. if you past the practice test then you can past the real one. also do all the homework he asked, he only wants you to do the odd problem and show your work on the problem. over all i pass w a "B" and i dislike math and i pass

Mr. Ramirez was an excellent teacher. I hate math but he made is very simple for me to understand. His lectures are detailed and he will answer any and all questions you have. He takes time to explain anything you don't know. There's homework but it's simple if you pay attention in class. I highly recommend him. I took him when he taught at VVC

took fast track. math is not my strong point but his methods for math were very simple and easy to understand. drops lowest test score give extra credit on a few of the test which really helped. hands down best math teacher i ever had.

Ramirez has a different approach on math than other professors. Overall he made the material more understandable. The only thing that really bothered me in the class was that he didn't discourage off topic interruptions. I often left class early because I was only there to learn to material, not listen to matters that didn't apply to the class.

AWESOME TEACHER! Makes math so much easier as a really caring teacher because he wants to help those that are struggle to understand math. Extra credit. No midterm. 25 question final!
