I have her for Management 4333 Online and the best decision I made was having her. She cares about her students and sends out powerpoints to help us out. Discussions are not bad at all and are based off of TED Talks which are always interesting, haven't been bored once. The assignments are also super helpful for the purpose of the course. TAKE HER

Comment:

Ms. Massetti is an excellent professor! This course we read a few good books. She shows a lot of Ted talks, which all give great lessons and wrap into the courses well. I had her for two management classes and would definitely take a class with her again if given the opportunity. Awesome personality! Keeps the class positive and interesting.

Comment:

Course subject itself was very interesting. It involved reading several good books. However, there was also a group project involved, which could have used more direction. Director of company we presented group projects to kept interrupting us during presentations and seemed unappreciative of students' efforts- abruptly leaving after presentations.

Great professor. Uses lots of documentary clips to supplement understanding of concepts taught in class. Most work that needs to be done is due at the end of the semester: one final exam, one individual research paper, and one individual presentation.

Comment:

One of the best professors at SJU. She cares a lot about her students and wants her students to do well. She's very passionate about the subject which would almost make one really want to get into it as well. She talks fast, and that's because she has so much to share. She's very intelligent/knowledgeable, and makes class lively/interesting.

I have taken Dr. Massetti for 3 Management classes so far, and I've loved every one of them. She has a very relaxed style of teaching and lectures from powerpoints and videos. All Open book tests and exams and a written group project. Very easy and interesting classes and she is really nice and has an exciting and fun personality too!!

Her lectures are very laid back and calm compared to other professors. Most of her graded assignments that determine your grade are not submitted until end of term, but don't worry. Just keep up with reading & don't procrastinate and you'll be fine. Its worth it to rent a DVD of something she shows in class if its tested for take-home final.

She is probably the worst teacher I've ever experienced. She runs thru the material and shows movies that have no relevance to the the material. She also like to throw in her political views on a daily basis. My opinion, it was a waste of one night a week.

This professor is an absolute mockery. She flies through the material at light speed, gets annoyed if students ask questions and assigns work that she does not cover in class. That being said, the class was pretty easy. There is homework assigned after each class, a group presentation and take home final exam. It's work, but a pretty easy A.
