Pretty easy. All tests are open book. Just copy the way he does the problems on the board then do that exact format on the test and he will give you an A. So much extra credit too. I failed Vasilopolous and got an A with this guy. He's the man.

DO NOT TAKE HIM. he is the WORST professor I've ever taken. Dont bother purchasing the textbook. It is a waste of money and you can invest that towards other use! Class was useless and boring. Although he is easy, trying to make it out alive is hard. He is very picky when it comes to class projects and will take off points randomly!

Don't buy the book if you plan on doing the extra credit. If you do enough of the extra credit and well enough, you won't even need to study for midterm/final as long as you have rudimentary knowledge of microsoft applications, and who doesn't? Nice guy, eccentric sense of humor.

He's a good professor but sometimes hard to understand. He doesn't grade the hw, he jus gives it to you to practice cuz he goes over the answers in class anywayz. He gives excel projects for EC and the tests and exams are open book and he gives good notes!!! wat else could you want!? I say take him!!!

First DS class for Tobin students. This prof is relatively easy considering that he does not collect hw and that the comp proj are usually for extra credit and the exams are all open book. all you need to do is do the hw before you go over it in class so that you know wats going on since he teaches so boringly and not clearly.

Awsome teacher...his tests are open book and if you go to his classes and write down everything on the board you'll be fine. Sometimes he can speak forever but what can you say he's giving open book exams [Midterm and Final] He also gives you a good significant amount of extra credit...Impossible to fail his class.

Overall hard class to do well in if you don't come to class. The test are straight from his notes. DONT GO BY BOOK! dont even buy it its a waste of money, just go buy a book a cheaper 1 that explains it better. If your failing in the beginning just make sure to do extra credits and meet up with him. He takes that into consideration.
