He is awful! He failed me on almost every single assignment, and even when I redid them, I would rarely get 10 more points on it. He made it impossible for me to pass. I have to retake this class now and I am currently in another class, and I have an A. He definitely plays favorites. Take another prof if you can.

If I can learn to draw anyone can. Funny and extremely willing to help you get better and boost your grade. Cool projects and interesting in class projects (nude models to still life).

Row is great. As long as you turn in everything he will always let you redo assignments which is more than fair. He teaches you techniques that are really helpful. He's nice, funny, and very cool. I really enjoyed taking this class and wish he taught others so I could take from him again.

This is not a class you can slack off in (The work load is, at times, almost overwhelming), but I guarantee you will learn something from this class. Row is very friendly and helpful, and I love the fact that he grades on skill while still helping lesser artists to pass.

He is a good professor who knows his stuff. He will help you with anything you need & is very reasonable with grading and such. Attendance is needed due to inclass still life assignments. Chances are given to make up misses assignments and quizes. No tests or final. Gives plenty of opportunity to make an A. Do the work and it should be no problem.

Row enjoys drawing and knows how to help you learn. He has a great personality and understands that it's a mandatory class for art majors, so he's willing to work with you if you aren't the best drawer. Accepts late work and gives extra credit, who could ask for more?

I learned a lot in this class. Going to class is important and there are outside assignments so it is time consuming, but not difficult if you just put in a little effort. Both the prof. and his TA are very helpful.

I really liked him as a person and as an artist. I admired his talent and he was very helpful with the students who were willing to improve. Our entire class improved IMMENSELY within the course of the semester. Though it is a decent amount of work, if you don't procrastinate it is easily manageable. I thought that he was a great teacher and would recommend taking him to anyone. Oh, and he sometimes carries an AMAZING man purse. yesssssss

He teaches the class as if you have never drawn before, which is nice. He starts from the basics, but moves very fast from there. Be ready for a lot of work. When you need help, he ALWAYS helps. He's a good teacher.
