Very knowledgable and musical, but would make a better theorist than teacher. Always seems angry and doesn't give much (if any) positive feedback to the group, the criticisms are done with a raised tone, and then blames the group for not looking excited. Lectures too much during choir. Very sarcastic sense of humor. Not an inspiring conductor.

Bruce is an amazing conductor. He makes you WANT to sing and enjoy the pieces he chooses. Not to mention how hilarious he is. But in my experience, what stuck out the most was how personal he was. He really cares about his students and their feelings and well-being. I had the opportunity to be in concert choir but I wouldn't leave Bruce!

A hilariously amazing conductor. Not to mention his impecable dress and beautiful voice (and face..). Rescheduled a private audition for me multiple times until a time worked and let me in after the class was already full. This man is definitely as fabulous as his facebook group claims.

Seriously the best musician I have met in my life. He takes his work seriously while having fun with it. BEST conductor I ever worked with. Vast knowledge of composition, vocal technique, the importance building nuances into choral phrasing...gets his choirs to emote/tell a story...high expectations (his groups always achieve them) and professionalism.
