Sit in the front and do not buy the book. He told us last semester that we MIGHT be assigned something from the book - lol it never happened. Lectures are short but boring. He reads straight off the lecture slides. I still recommend going to class, especially the week before an exam. Exams are tough but he curves. I ended up with an A-.

I took this class Fall of 2015 as a freshman and it was my first 8am class. To be honest, i probably would have liked this class more if it wasn't so early in the morning and because his lectures were so boring. He mostly read off the powerpoint and gave examples. There were 3 tests, after the first test i skipped class and self taught myself.

Psyc 2301 is fairly easy with Breitmeyer. 3 exams STRAIGHT out of his lecture power points. No need for the book. Take lab with Villanueva, easy grader!

SIT IN THE FRONT! he speaks very quietly and he wanders away from the microphone. good at answering questions, very experienced(knows what he's talking about). If you don't do good on the tests, like me, doing your work in the lab will save your grade. The final isn't cumulative.

Dr. Breitmeyer did an excellent job of providing examples and had no problem re-explaining things if there was confusion. Tests are conceptual not just pure memorization of terms. I loved coming to class and talking with Dr. Breitmeyer. Unfortunately the only classes he teaches are graduate level, otherwise I would take another course from him!

I would NOT recommend Breitmeyer at all. His lectures are beyond belief boring making it very hard to follow. Going to the library and going over lecture slides myself was more beneficial for me than going to class. His tests are very difficult and his concepts aren't clear. Save your GPA . Don't take him

The class material is boring but Bruno can be funny sometimes. He gives you the slides before first day of class so study those! I recommend going to class though because he further explains the slides. Tests are difficult but the lab can save you bc its half your grade!

He's not bad, but his lectures can be VERY boring. Reads right of the powerpoint, which he sends to you at the beginning of the semester. Many people just studied the powerpoint and didn't go to class, but he appreciates it if you show up. The lab component with this class wasn't too bad, had to write your own research proposal and paper.

TAKE STATS FIRST! DON'T TAKE BROTHERS FOR LAB! Dr. Breitmeyer was a good professor and was very nice. I took this class in the summer and although I found it to be a little too much info for 4 weeks, it is doable. Attendence not mandatory, he gives great lectures. Take advantage of the extra credit! 2 tests = 1/2 your grade, lab is other 1/2.

I took this class over the summer. Dr. Breitmeyer is a funny little man. He's been teaching the class forever, so he knows his stuff. Attendance isn't manadatory but still helpful since he gives a lot of examples. Scanning the book helps too. The tests were a little tricky even though they were multiple choice. Study for the tests!

Dr. Breitmeyer is a good prof, and don't let his age fool you- he's pretty funny. Sometimes it's hard to hear him lecture, so sit in front. Gives plenty of examples of material in lecture- take good notes and you will do well on tests. Lab section counts as half your grade so do well in there too. I really like Dr. Breitmeyer!

He knows his stuff! He sends all the slides at the beginning of the semester. I also took notes and skimmed the book. He has a review class before tests that is helpful. I liked him! And from what I hear, he's better than a lot of other methods professors. Stress free class, just study!

It's not the easiest material but he understands that and gives great curves. He uses a lot of examples and makes sure you understand the material. He makes lecture very interesting and illustrates the topics very well. Just study hard and you'll do great

I thought this class was easy with him.. He gives you notes for the whole semester and you can skim the chapters to help with the notes and you will do good. His test are easy if you study your notes. I got a B+

I dont understand everyone's bickering. He lectures and uses pretty good examples to relate to the material. I only used the slides to study, and did great. He does get short with stupid questions, if they are repeated over and over again. The material is straight forward and if you are taking stats at the same time, u only have to study half asmuc

Why's he allowed to teach? I got a 100% in lab and a very low grade in this lec. Studying hard didn't pay off. His tests are ridiculous and some questions were worded so strangely that it was impossible to know what he was asking. Taking the lab guy doesn't help either, that's only 30% of the grade. Take someone else.
