Easily one of the most informative classes I took while attending CBC. I failed two of his classes, which I ended up taking over again (didn't do the reading) and I honestly loved it just as much the 2nd time through.

Let me start with the good news--he picks AMAZING reading. I loved every book he assigned, they're very informative and engaging. Now the bad. Though good, there is a TON of reading. His lectures then take the wonderfully rich reading and reduces them to a powerpoint summary which is a waste of time. Also, he can be funny but also insensitive.

This prof is incredible! I have never met anyone so intnet on encouraging his students to think hard and think well. His Christianity shines through his teaching. I only wish I could take more classes from him.

This man will challenge you...unlike most at CBC. He genuinely wants his students to THINK (unlike most of the profs I had there). Dry sense of humor - I liked it. Good challenging classes, good challenging guy. Take him.

I did not enjoy Pincombe's class. I found that his lectures were aweful. Coming from a Christian perspective on philisophy, he lacked that compassion that should mark our faith. He often would just bash particular authority figures such as the pres.

Pincombe is AWESOME! I love his jokes and he really cares about his students. I take him as much as I can.
