He is such a great teacher and I did learn a lot in the class. Make sure you take good notes and pay attention (not like that is different than any other class). Sometimes he might be a little difficult to understand but he will always help if you have questions or are confused so don't hesitate to ask. He's very nice! TAKE HIM.

TERRIBLE! The absolute worst professor I have ever had. Does not care to help his students. He does not listen to the concerns and questions of the students, just yeses them to death and continues wether or not you understand the material. Does not teach just goes over the textbook chapters. I was excited to learn a second languae now I regret it.

i took him for italian 101 and this class was horrible. i was so confused and he barely helped you. if you didnt get something he would continue anyway and even emabrressed people in front of the class

HORRIBLE. I took 4years of italian with all high grades. Took his class for a hopefully easy class and i was wrong. He was horrible and confused me. My whole class disliked him and won't listen to others. He ended my liking italian.

At first my friends and I thought he was a sweet adorable man, but towards the middle of the semester we discovered to be very intimidating and mean natured. If we got an answer wrong he'd make snide comments and even yell at us. What started out as a 22 person class, ended as a 4 person class. Enough said.

Professore che perfetto! He is just an adorable man! I loved his class and admire his brilliance! I miss coming to Italian class and learning. He is the real authentic deal. It was a privilage to have been taught by him!

Professor Battista is great. He is willing to give u help whenever u ask and he'll even give u extra credit points for going to an Italian Club meeting. It was my first time ever taking italian and I got a B+. I really enjoyed this class and highly recommend Battista as a teacher.

i took italian for four years in high school then took this class and it was hard to get through. He is a lecture teacher not a physical teacher... rarely conjugates on the board, how is anyone supposed to follow along??? Dont' take him!!!!!!
