She's an awesome teacher. She really cares about her students and she wants you to pass. I had to submit a portfolio at the end of the semester with all the papers 5 papers but she gives good feedback on each one and gives you a week to fix it and re submit it. LOVE HER (used the book)

Business Communications and the lessons focused on remedial English. When anything, business related it was extremely out of date with little to no value. I read a book during the lectures put in very little effort and received a B+. Its an easy A but she does not provide any real value and is disappointing, Very out of touch not a good class

Ms Rummel is an excellent teacher. She explains everything clearly, and will go over information again with you if you're still confused. Do not skip!! You take a quiz at the end of each class, and if you miss, you get a 0! (She talks about everything on the quiz during class.) She gives out tons of extra credit too, and 5 easy papers to write.

Prof Rummel was such a great instructor, she made the class fun and interesting. You are required to do work outside of the class, but nothing too hard. If you have a question, just ask, she is more than happy to help. She explains everything in very easy to understand terms.

Cari Rummel was the best she helps you and keeps u laughing. She is very compassionate about her teaching you will learn a great deal in her class! passed with a A. Just keep all your work u do in class and don't miss a day and keep all essays at 3 pages and you will pass. finished this class August 1st 2012!

Rummel is a very kind and patient teacher. I'm dyslexic and she helped my writing skills a ton! You also read a very fascinating book about the lost boys of sudan. The homework amount is not to bad and theirs only three papers. I would have to say she's a great teacher and very helpful!

She was awesome! Just read the required reading and do the work she asks. Don't worry if you're not great at writing papers. She will help you with them, and she will literally tell you what to do to make your papers perfect. I took 4 English classes at OCC. All my English instructors were great, but Cari was my favorite out of them all.
